Jar Opener for Weak Hands, Seniors with Arthritis, 5 in 1 Bottle Opener

I’ve had mine at least a couple years now and it’s really helped a lot. I originally purchased this just before injuries that weakened my hands more than usual, so this kit helped so much during my recovery. Even when healthy, my grip isn’t great, but this grip kit greatly lessens my struggles. The silicone gripper included in this opener bundle is the best I’ve ever had, so I hope the 4 pc gripper mat set offered by this vendor is the same exact quality because this gripper is so useful throughout the house and in a tool drawer.

These gadgets work! The grip is good and has versatile size openings. My hands are already appreciating how much easier it is to open bottles and jars. My only negative is that they are not big enough to open a 32 oz. pickle jar.

Omigosh, where have you been all our lives? Especially in middle age and beyond, these are fantastic for opening everything from jar lids to pulling pop tops, and more. They have their own special, easy to reach place in our kitchen. Super well made. Great gift too.

This is a handy tool for those of us with waning strength in our hands. It's very easy to use and works quite well for bottles of all sizes as well as a beverage can opener that eliminates the need to put your fingers on the tab.

For the most part I love this product. I was starting to have issues gripping and twisting off bottle caps. I don't have arthritis in my hands. Noticed that some of my Pure Leaf 16oz ice tea bottle caps wouldn't budge to twist off. Sometimes using a dry dish towel would help with screwing off cap and other times not. I thought I'd give this a try. The larger silicone bottle/lid opener is by far my favorite. I simply use the large opening to slip through and then feel for the grooves for the appropriate size lid, lineup and twist. It was that easy! Best part? I don't have to struggle as much getting the unbudgable Pure Leaf bottle cap to come off. First try came off with ease! The included silicone mat, small bottle cap twister and can opener I honestly have no use for at the moment. Stuck those in a kitchen drawer for future use if needed. As for the silicone mat? I think that's to keep bottles and jars from moving around the countertop. I have enough arm strength where I can hold it in place and twist lids and caps off. So instead of throwing that out I use that as a no slip grip coaster for my water glass on my bedroom nightstand. I wish the company had those no slip silicone mats individually for sale because I would like a couple more of those. The only major complaint that I have is that it appears I was given a used product and not new. In other words the customer before me tried using the large bottle and jar lid/cap opener and didn't like it. Because the other three items still had their plastic sealant on. I also ordered the blue and gray one and got white and cyan instead. And and I had to pay full price on the item which should not have. I was in dire need of a bottle and jar opener. This product seems to do the trick. I just wish that the company had sent me what I had purchased instead of what they had in stock. I didn't give us a five star rating because I only found use for the large bottlejar opener and no slip grip mat. Not to mention the company sent me a used product instead of new. And they didn't send me the color that I wanted.

I brought this for my mum she has said its brilliant she can open a bottle of bleach which is the first time in over a year also small jars like the mint sauce she can now also open she has really bad arthritis for over 15 years and has struggled with opening things for some time. So far the tool has done the job

I first bought one for my mom and then later I missed it so bought another for myself. These have been excellent to overcome the increasingly tighter and tighter jar lids. It's crazy. A brand of kombucha that I like was making it almost impossible to open their recent drinks so while I can typically open the tightest of lids I could do so no longer. Literally an arms race! Also for seniors having difficulty opening soup cans or any kind of a tab pull, the hooks on the sides are really effective. Can use both openers as a fulcrum. Sometimes you don't even need to twist a jar lid at all, just enough to pop the lid with air when you squeeze the sides with the jar opener or pry it with the side hooks. So it's more than just some pliers. Comes with a sticky pad for people like me who just need a better grip but I'm finding it much easier to just use the tools. The second smaller opener is really specific to certain lid sizes like bottle caps, so it may not have as much utility, until I used it to pop air into a jar lid using the side teeth. Both units have the same setup. The second one also has an opening for bottle caps that don't fit the main circle, if you want to try prying them off. Overall a great kitchen helper. Even if you have the hands of steel the situation keeps escalating and these will save you. As such these are an easy recommendation
