SrihomeSH029 3MP Ultra HD 1296p Wireless WiFi Waterproof Indoor/Outdoor CCTV IP Security Camera - White, (Model: SrihomeSH029)

I'd be frank in all. I've returned this cam, but still will enumerate its plus points as well.1. Its price is ok given its quality and cam.2. Unlike AP Pixel, its outdoor cam's body is plastic, but then its 400 rupees less. But its mounting bracket is very cheap. If you have to fix it only once/twice, then its ok. But if you happen to unbind it and then again mount it many times (say more than 10 times), then the bracket may even break totally. Also, can't hold the cam to full accuracy. There remains a play of 1 to 2 mm.3. When I compared its 1296pixels to others 1020, I didn't find least difference. Seemed that both are equal. But I may be wrong here.4. Smaller than Active Pixel's comparable model, that's good.5. Night vision, is fully ok. Even can see more time in colour than Active Pixel. I.e. Active pixels goes black & white sooner than this SriHome. But not very very big diff.6. Now would like to tell 2 biggest issues: a) you can't view it in your windows pc or any internet connected browser. No way (except android emulators of course. Because android emulators are very complex and they sort of create an android mobile in your pc and allow all android mobile apps to run in pc).b) BIGGEST ISSUE, FOR WHICH I HAD TO RETURN IT: While viewing playback, you can't cut/choose any portion of any video, which you could then download locally/into your mobile storage. The only way to download is to climb up to the cam, where its hung outside, eject its chip, insert the same into PC, copy paste the videos required, then climb again, and insert the chip again. During that period you have no recordings happening in your cam. Also for repeated such operations you may damage your chip or its port.But they're saying that they're going to resolve this last issue in next update, may be in a month.Also, there was 1 fault, that whenever I copied its chips recordings into my pc by copying, its videos gave a continuous loud shriek. Which they've given a file to me which is supposed to solve that problem. But I'm writing this review before even trying that (I'm going to return it anyway).Thanks.

Used this product for few days and compared to similar product of other brand which is installed in other corner and here is my review :Lens and picture quantity ie. Sharpness and contrast is very bad. It cannot capture picture clearly even with HD mode. Its not wide angle lens and covers less area.Only advantage of this product is its compact and does not have antenna.It's poor quality product and is not recommended.

I can't believe in this price got the best IP camera, I installed by myself, easy to setup and works perfect. You can access through 4 different devices, checked night vision, works superb best deal ever!!!

Using it for a month now. It is installed outdoors and has gone through 2-3 spells of rain without getting compromised. Night vision clarity is good and is easy to install with the app. Only feedback to manufacturer - pls introduce cloud and NAS storage like others like MI does.

Poor product.Used it for just 4 months outdoor,it doesn't connect with wifi&remains offline,though Cam is on.The reception range of inbuilt&hidden antenna has reduced drastically&connects barely at 10 feet,earlier it could connect at 25 to 30 feet&dis range reducing each day.Not a reliable product&nowhere in comparison to SH024.Though Compact&snazzy looking Cam, gives HD output. Has inbuilt speaker & mike & SD Card slot; that is where it seems suseptible to water/moisture injestion b'cos unlike SHO24 which has good leak proof cover on SD Card slot,it doesn't seem leakproof as described by d company SriHome. Not yet fully exposed it to vagaries of weather/rain but am not sure of water proof credentials. It needs external entenna than an imbedded one:which r not dat efficient in reception & transmission of data. Also not as robust in construction as SH24. Overall poor product & not value for money.
