This is nice because so I can charge all MacBooks from 2012 and newer with a single charger. My MacBook Pro 13 2015 charges at the full 65w supported by the laptop.NOTE: Originally, I got a MagSafe 1 adapter, so I had to return it and get a replacement. YMMV.

Our Rabbit chewed through the cable on my MAC adapter for a 2015 Macbook Pro. Decided to give this a try using with a 100W PC USBC cable and a suitable USB C 65W Power Supply. Works great. It does get a bit warm but nothing of concern

I needed a Magsafe 2 charger. I paired it with a USB C 45w charger and I got a Magsafe 2 charger.I find it better than the original I'm replacing because the cable lies neatly alongside the MacBook rather than sticking out. It is a more elegantly designed solution than Apple came up with.It allows me to use the charger / USB C cable for other devices when the Magsafe is not attached.The combo is slightly more expensive than a direct replacement of the original charger but I'm happy with the more flexible use options and neater attachment.Overall I'd recommend giving it a try if a Magsafe 2 charging is what you're after.

MacBook pro 2015 15inch now charges with my usb c

I've just tried a second one of these because the first didn't work, but that doesn't work either.I've tried two chargers and cables that worked with a similar adapter that I recently lost.The power light on the adapter flickered once and never lit again.The Mac says it's getting some power, but not enough to charge, even with my 65W Anker charger that worked with my old adapter.

I use this with a 100w UGreen charger and it powers and charges my 2015 MacBook Pro perfectly.
