An excellent and valuable source of information for any Archaeology student or professional studying this portion of Mesoamerica. This book is somewhat difficult to find and not always readily available at any library. Shaft tombs in this book are well illustrated by the author for research and understanding placement of artifacts within the tombs, especially in Colima. Southwest Museum is the publisher (1974). The Southwest Museum near L.A. also published additional research on these areas of Mesoamerica. Hasso Von Winning has written other good research books on Mesoamerica. They are all older but provide good data for research.
