Archie McPhee - Really Big Pencil - Write and Erase! - Use it at Home, School, Anywhere - 15"

This item is amazing. I got red, which was fine since I knew colors would vary. I wouldn't however recommend getting if you plan on using, or at least not long. I got for a photo prop, so it works fine, however there seems to be no way to sharpen it since it appears the tip is only lead and there's no lead inside. Worked great for what I needed it for.

When I got this giant pencil I was amazed at how big it was. The picture is deceiving, in the way that the pencil looks. I think the pencil looks a lot better in real life. Very cute. I'm going to order at least one more of these giant pencils. The color is not just yellow.

this was a cute gag gift for our boss at work except when we opened it the lead fell out. we had to scramble to get crazy glue to keep the lead in the pencil. That was a huge bummer but at least he loved it.

So this is a cool big pencil that boys and girls love. My only problem with it is the graphite for writing is super short and pushes back up into the pencil very easily. Do the kids still love it? Yes. But they are disappointed when they can't write with it for very long.

I am an art teacher. Sometimes the critique process stresses the students out some. I bought this pencil to do their critiques with to help lighten the mood of the critique process. My students love watching me draw with this giant pencil. The led is normal #2 pencil led, only thicker. The eraser does work, but tends to crumple the paper easily. It takes a bit to get used to the top heaviness of the pencil. But, it is a lot of fun.

TERRIBLE PRODUCT!! Besides the fact that I did NOT receive the brand I ordered ... & that it was supposed to be an Amazon Prime item w/ guaranteed arrival in 2 days and it took more than twice that long for it to arrive... worse than all that was that I ordered this as a gag gift for my niece. She loved it...until she went to actually write w/ it & at the first press of pencil to paper, the lead retracted into the pencil with no way to sharpen it!! WORST OF ALL WHEN I WENT TO RETURN IT FOR REFUND OR REPLACEMENT I WAS INFORMED THERE ARE “NO RETURNS FOR THIS ITEM”!!!NOT COOL AMAZON/ JEFF BEZOS!!

I had bought this to go with a holloween costume and I needed a yellow pencil to complete it so I ordered this one. However, when I open the package I was surprised to see a blue pencil in which I did not want. If I wanted a blue pencil I would have bought a different one on here that was slightly cheaper. Very disappointed, because now I need to spend more money on paint to turn the pencil to a yellow color since I don’t have time to order another one off amazon. Please fix your images to better show the correct product or add a description showing that you may receive a different color. Not ordering another one of these again.

I'm a middle school teacher. I bought three Really Big Pencils to lend out to students when they inevitably forget to bring one to class. Yeah, I think I'll also get a kick to watch kids try to write with a pencil as big as their forearm, but after the initial novelty, I'm also hoping that kids would rather remember to bring their own pencil more consistently than have to use this monster pencil. Then the pencils can be used for decoration in the classroom. I wonder how I'll sharpen them...I might ask the shop teacher if he would use a belt sander...Oh! And it will be easy to locate my borrowed pencils to make sure I get them returned.
