Completely misinterprets basic facts about Hinduism from the get-go
Kali is simply not associated with thieves, blood sacrifice and is irrelevant where she is "born" from. Western academics that try and vilify Kali despite her being the mother goddess do a lot of harm to the publics perception of real peoples actual religious views. Its as if this author watched Indiana Jones and believed that to be at all a correct interpretation of Mother Kali. I would recommend everyone to steer clear of this.
