I purchased this to run off my deep cycle batteries as a back-up to our sump pump in case we lose power. It'll also be used in my small bass buster boat. The pump was delivered quick and was promptly tested. Work great and pumps way more water than I was expecting. After reading reviews on this pump, sold under different brands, I was a bit concerned about getting a hose to fit. Seems a lot of people are having a hard time getting a hose to fit this 1 1/8 size. Easy solution - EASTMAN 1-5/8-in x 6-ft PVC Bilge Pump Discharge Tubing sold at Lowes and Home Depot. Fits perfect and this pump will push water uphill all 6' of hose. I got a small metal mesh food strainer at the dollar store and cut it to fit under the orange clip on cap. Then hot glued it into place. It fits under the cap and should keep trash out of the pump. If it ever gets clogged, just pop the cap off and rinse.

Pretty good for the money, works well as of now, only been in the boat a week.

This is an awesome little pump! It's actually better than I expected. It's simple and easy to install (if you take the time to think about how to install it.) And it's really powerful when pumping! If you need this kind of pump, I would really recommend this one!

You won't believe how much water comes shooting out of this pump. I was amazed. It's just this tiny little thing...much smaller than I expected from looking at the photos. It works like crazy, and I wonder why it took me 14 years to get one of these and quit bailing my fishing boat by hand. The only problem I had was finding a discharge hose of the right size. I thought surely I'd have an old piece of hose in the garage that would work, but not so. Nothing fit. I was finally able to get a hose at the hardware store, but 2 feet of hose cost me more than the pump! You'll also need 2 alligator clips (or similar) to connect the pump to your battery. I found them at the hardware store for 75 cents each.

I did not notice in the ad that the outlet size was one inch instead of 3/4. I was in a bind to get it installed so I used some items i already had and made it work. A little inconvenient but workable because I had piping to modify the installation.

Great little pump. Moves more water than I expected. I filled the bilge twice just to watch it work🤣. We’ll see how long it lasts but build quality seems good. Good value to cost ratio.

A hole formed in the bottom of my jon boat. I kept this pump as a just in case option with alligator clips on the Pos/Neg wires. As the boat began to fill with water during a night fishing tournament I quickly grabbed this pump and emptied the bottom of the boat of water not just once but twice to keep my rig afloat.
