3.5 stars.
This is the first book from this series that I have read and I will admit that I took time to get into it and to connect to some of the characters. The story brings to light a lot of issues, some of which I would have liked to know the outcome of. I saw somethings coming and others I didn't. I liked that the story showed the good and not so good of growing up such as personal struggles, family drama, peer pressure, struggles with confidence, falling in love and the support of good friends.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

The Bookworm and the Wide Receiver
I have really enjoyed this series but I have to say this is my favorite! So much more than an opposites attracts book. It's about the journey of self discovery, the growth from stepping outside your comfort zone, and the strength you gain from owning what you see as your weaknesses. Very inspiring! Just a warning make sure you have time to read the whole book because you won't want to put it down!

Opposites attract!
Another cute high school sports romance. Trope; opposites attract. Tennessee and Millie's story is really heartwarming.Read in Kindle Unlimited

It was interesting enough
I don’t know once I got towards the end I was trying to hurry up and finish. I think I got tried of the book or something. It happens with certain books. Not all though,, even though I liked this book and I enjoyed it. Can’t wait for the next books to this series. I’m definitely going to be on the look out for them. Also; I think that Tennessee was messing his self up when it came to Millie too. Because he kept saying the wrong things to upset her. Then on top of that he kept leaving without telling her. I was glad that he done better on the third round when he went to pick up his sister. Because of his mom drinking again.Because he was clearly messing things up for himself. I could tell and everyone else that Millie knew. That Tennessee liked her. She was the only one didn’t think so. Because of the way he was acting and the things that he was saying to or about her.I was glad when he got himself together. It sucked that he was hiding his disability. It’s nothing wrong with having disability. Especially dyslexia because of people has it. He seem like he was smart though especially with sports and other things. But he just had a hard time with reading. Though audiobooks is good for him. As well since he don’t have to read he can listen to them as well.

Not typical
IMO not a typical high school romance. Yes it was about a star football player and a bookworm, but the story wasn't easy for either of them. They were both battling with insecurities and it took them awhile to realize what was happening. It was sweet and full of character changes all through the book and not just by the main characters.

Awesome story
I have enjoyed this wonderful heartfelt adventure of young bookworm as she find herself attracted to the star wide receiver.
