I had seen reviews of this product and decided to give it a go.

Amongst its other potential benefits, turmeric is perhaps best known for its reputed anti-inflammatory qualities - particularly when it is combined with black pepper.This anti-inflammatory effect is my main motivation for using this, which I take in addition to a Glucosamine & Chondroitin supplement.There is quite a bit to like about these particular capsules from Apex Vitality:+ Vegan friendly.+ Soil Association certified.+ Made in UK (so no negative impact on carbon footprint by shipping them around the globe).Against that, there is a lack of clear direction regarding serving size:The on-pack information suggests that you should take one capsule per day, but the information on this product page suggests both 1 capsule AND 3 capsules per day in different places.Personally, I would disagree with both. Give the strength of these particular capsules, then to be in line with other turmeric supplements I have used, I would suggest that TWO capsules per day would be the appropriate serving.On that basis, at £10.99 for a 60 day supply (120 capsules) these work out at 18p per day. If you shop around you can find good quality turmeric supplements at a daily cost of only 10p-15p per day, so these particular ones are certainly not ludicrously overpriced, but you may be able to find equally good alternatives that are a little cheaper.I hope you find these comments helpful.

The main point of taking turmeric is for its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties which can help to combat arthritis and potentially prevent the onset of heart disease, cancer, and Alzheimer’s.The tablets are coated and easy to swallow, with no significant taste or smell which makes supplementing an easy job. The packaging is plastic but dark in colour which will hopefully prevent sunlight from getting through to the tablets. However, the product description on Amazon says to take 3 a day, but the bottle only says to take 1, so the information doesn't align.Unfortunately, turmeric won't be a quick fix for anything, and you'll likely need to take it for 1-2 months before noticing any level of improvements (if any). If you're relatively healthy already, there's a good chance you'll notice no benefits at all, but that doesn't mean it's not improving or maintaining your long-term health in the background.Compared to other similar turmeric & black pepper supplements, it provides a good dosage of each ingredient for a reasonable price. Other supplements advertise higher dosages but hide the fact that it requires multiple servings which skews the value of the product.
