Haven’t caught no gnats only a spider and normal fly 🕷️Maybe they are scared of the yellow ? Although I had a tiny one flying around but no attracted to the trap ?Time will tell

I initially put a bad review and i humbly retract it. The first few days nothing happened when i put these traps up. Nothing got stuck on the sticky pads. After a week it had good few flies on it and i find a lot less around the house since. Only thing is the larger flies seem to be able to wiggle their way off the sticky pad hence the 4 stars instead of 5.

I have never had a teeny fly problem before (I’m sure they have a more scientific name but blowed if I know) and do not have any new plants, but I put this bright yellow flower in my newly infested Aloe Vera plant pot last night and this morning it was full of the little blighters, I thought the number in the pack may have been overkill but it looks like I am going to go through a few of these. Highly recommended.

If you love house plants and these days were we are no longer digging up the mossy peat bog lands and releasing their stored carbon, we are going to come at some stage to compost made from composted materials you are at some stage have a nasty surprise of what feels like thousands of fruit fly type fly's located directly around your beautiful potted plants. Whilst most suppliers sterilise their compost there are some that don't and this is full of fabulous stuff for the plants of course, but the moist nature of the compost is an ideal location for the breeding feeding and procreation of these little fungus gnats. It you wish to go chemical free; this is part of a two-prong approach to try and disrupt their life cycle and remove the issue. The yellow colour attracts the gnats immediately , the sticky surface then means they can not return to the compost to lay more eggs and continue the problem. Team this with a physical barrier that doesn't allow access to the compost is how I am hoping to compact this fungus gnat issue we have with the plants at the office.

Brought these because I brought some house plant compost that seems riddled with little flies (should of believed the reviews on that one) anyway saw someone say about these in the complaints about the compost and brought. Has done the job really well. Clouds of little flies now only the off one. My only complaint is I wish they were green so were more camouflaged in my plant pots, kind of ruin the look but they do an excellent job.

They just about do the job. I have some of these hanging up and they catch most of the flies. But if they land near the edges they can walk off. They are nowhere near as sticky as the long dangly strips are, which capture flies with no escape.

Love the cute designs but most importantly these work at catching pesky lil flies (Gnats) easy to use and put where needed no nasty residue or getting stuck to these so gone is the fly papers along with a quick, efficient and reliable service brilliant prices too 5+🌟
