Perfect for splitting a 10 gallon tank
I needed something to separate my tank while introducing new fish and this worked perfectly. It's kind of flimsy but all you need to do is secure it properly and it will divide the tank safely with no chance of any fish breaking through into one side or another. I appreciate the affordability, you'll get what you need for a good price if you buy this product.

Update 1 year
I originally wrote about how I thought this was a good product. I gave it 4 stars. Now after a boutique a year my opinion has changed. I used this to separate 2 male bettas and it was all good until about 3 maybe 4 months ago. The screen on the divider wears down and holes start to form. Now I will say that one of my bettas is very aggressive and constantly picked at the divider. But I refuse to believe that one small betta cause the huge holes in the divider. This ended up with my elder betta being torn to pieces. After buying a whole new tank for the aggressor I'll hopefully be able to rehab the injured party.

Worked ok for a while
I bought this product to put in my fish tank to keep my betas separated. Worked OK for a while. My one beta somehow got on the other side multiple times. I’m guessing she jumped over. Doesn’t look the nicest in the fish tank and ended up tearing in the corner.

100% recommend this!
I am so happy with this divider! Because it has frames the divider slides into and not suction cups, it fits snug against the glass sides of the tank so small fish can't just swim around by the suction cups like other products have. Looks great and easy to clean when done. My Bettas can still see each other so they don't get lonely but can't possibly get to each other! (If using for Bettas, make sure it goes to the top of the tank as well, Bettas "jump" sometimes!)

It comes rolled up and the type of material it is is hard to unroll so it is challenging to put together when it shouldn't be but it works good as a barrier

Great for Bettas bu not African aquatic frogs
I purchased this divider to keep my male Betta from scaring the rest of my community tank to death. Plus, my neons were disappearing. A little background: I purchased a small tank already set up and stocked with a beautiful blue Betta and an Albino African aquatic Frog for my office desk. I brought this self-contained unit home each weekend and became attached to the two little creatures in the tiny tank (as did my cats) and I felt sorry for them being in such a small space. I had room in my community tank so I added them and put the tiny tank away. THe betta became very aggressive and chased the clown loaches and neons unmercifully. Then the neons started disappearing and the loaches turned up dead so I took action and bought this divider and a Beta bed leaf for his side of the tank. I went to a pet store and purchased a female Betta and replaced the neons and clown loaches. The Bettas had wonderful time displaying for each other and he started blowing bubbles for the nest (she was very small and I wanted to see how they would react before adding her to the Betta side. Meanwhile the frog had grown to about 4 times his original size. All appeared to be well and then a neon disappeared and then another so I put the frog in with the Betta. THe next day he was back in the community side of the tank! So I got the net and scooped him up and he jumped out onto the living room rug and the cats and I started a merry chase which led very quickly to the woodpile and after disassembling that finding the frog still alive and well it eventually jumped into the cats' turbo-charger toy where I finally captured it and returned it to the Betta side of the tank Next morning he was back on the other side! Unfortunately, I temporarily gave up and by the next day he had eaten the female Betta. THe male refused to eat breakfast. I must say I didn't feel much like eating either. I recaptured the murderous frog and put him back in the tiny tank and set out for the pet store where I purchased another girlfriend for the Betta. They take turns displaying for each other and she then takes off to explore the tank until she feels like flirting some more. So this divider was the perfect solution for the Betta problem but it does not work for aquatic frogs!

Better than the LFS's SAME PRODUCT
I got this divider for my 10 gallon long fish tank that I was going to use for two male bettas, but then decided to divide into three for three male bettas. I had only ordered one from Amazon, which arrived very quickly. Thus, I had to go to a pet store out of town to pick up the SAME THING, because I didn't want to divide into two, then go in and redo it all to divide into three (call me lazy). The dividers were the made by the same manufacturer, the Amazon version was less expensive, but I have to say... The one I got on Amazon is MUCH less flimsy (and I even broke the stabilizer on top on the Amazon one!) and doesn't need to be held up by tank decor at all. The one from the pet store? It has gravel holding it up, rocks, and driftwood supporting it. They were cut to the same size, and had the same general "pieces," but the Amazon by far outshines the other. I have nothing but rave reviews about this. Beyond that, the stabilizer on the Amazon version is a little taller that the one from the LFS - something I learned after the fact with horrible results (one of the males jumped over to the other side and fought with the other while I was at work. Definitely would buy again!t

Not Worth It, Just order a more expensive one.
The media could not be loaded. First off it’s delivery was delayed which was sucky. But now it got here, it was rolled and annoying to put together. It didn’t fit my 10 gallon tank so me and my sister cut it but it being so weird and rolled made the cut uneven. It was already uneven when we got it but when we cut it, it got worse. Now it’s in my tank separating my two male bettas. It’s not flesh with the wall. Now I’m worried my bettas are going to get to eachother even with me trying to block it with rocks and plants where it’s more open. It wasn’t worth it I should’ve got a more expensive one but fish stuff is already so costly. If my fish get to eachother and kill eachother I will be extremely upset. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT, spend the extra cash for a better divider. It’s hard to see in the video.
