Comfy & easy
I like this one more than another brand I had. This one is much more comfortable & the adjustable trigger length is great for all sized hands.

For the price it’s not bad.
So my son is 13 and just got into archery so I didn’t want to go out there and spend a lot of money on a release. If you been shooting archery then you know releases can range any where between 100-350 bucks. Ya that’s a lot of money. Anyway I figured I would give this one a shot. Of course I’m going to use this a few times to check it out before I hand it over and this is what I have found. This is a duel caliper release. The wrist strap is really nice. There is a buckle to tighten. I prefer the buckle because of two things. It’s quieter than velcro and you can set it to the same position each time which is super important. The barrel swivels side to side and is held in with a roll pin. If your not holding the trigger than the barrel moves freely. The trigger is about like any other trigger on a release the jaws are smooth and don’t have any burrs so the D-Loop won’t get cut. There is a spring in between the jaws that help the jaws open when the trigger is pulled back. It’s what you normally see on the cheaper type of wrist releases but it works. The downside to this style of trigger is it’s not that smooth. You have to sort of pull on it almost in a way that you punch the trigger which will throw your shot off. In order to be accurate you want a really smooth release that allows you to follow through with your shot. That is one of the downsides when you don’t spend a lot of money on a release but it’s to be expected with a budget release aid. One of the good features that this has that you don’t normally find on the cheaper wrist releases is the barrel adjustment. You can lengthen the release and there are 3 positions you can set it at. There isn’t much to it and all you have to do is loosen the allen bolt and they even include the allen wrench which is a SAE size not metric. In all it’s not a bad release. I would definitely recommend just spending more and getting a really good release so that you can work on good shot execution and follow through. This is really important as a beginner so you don’t pick up bad habits because they can be hard to break. I understand that there are times where you can’t go drop a 100 bucks or more on a release and just need something right now to shoot with and in that case this would work.

Suitable release
My 7 year old daughter was able to use this - the release is able to adjust down even for her very small wrists. It's not the best release, but better than no release.I tend to draw a release with my finger behind the trigger pushing it locked and I haven't had any issues with unlocking early.
