The cookie cutters are just what I was looking for and work well. Unfortunately, they were packed in a plastic bag and were bent by the other items in the box. I was able to reshape the cutters mostly but it would be nice if they were packed in their own box to protect them during shipping.

On a whim recently I decided that I wanted to bake some cookies that weren't just the standard blobs of dough that turn into delicious irregular cookies. I wanted to make some sugar cookies... and to do that I would need some cookies cutters. When I saw these cat cutters (and also the separate rocket ship cutter) I knew I had found what I was looking for!These cutters come in a nice box with some basic are instructions and recipes. The metal design is very sturdy while at the same time very precise so you get nice clean cuts that make the cookies easy to separate. I made my first batch (pictured) and they came out great even with my minimal icing skills.If you are looking for nice cookie cutters that will give you very precise cuts and will last for years, you've found them.

I bought these mainly because they looked sturdy and were made in the USA. They work very well and make such cute cat shapes! I also used the gingerbread recipe in the little booklet that came with them; it was delicious and easy to make (even a novice baker like me).I accidentally used more baking soda than the recipe called for, so my cookies may have puffed up a little more than they usually do. However, they kept their shapes pretty well, as you can see in the pictures.

These cat cookie cutters are absolutely sweet! Great to make and decorate for the cat lover in your life! I like to do a simple sugar cookie and decorate with Royal Icing! Enjoy
