Solved my problem
I bought a new AK and couldn't figure out how to attach the sling where I wanted it on the butt stock.There is a small hole in the butt stock (Magpul) where I wanted to attach the sling. The ULoop fit through the hole after a little grinding on the ball at the end of the cable, and allowed me to attach the sling where I wanted it

Quieter and more reliable than QD
Decided to try these out after having a couple QD swivels (one from BCM and one from Vltor) fail. Very surprised at how much I like these. Far more mounting options than QD swivels, and still very much QD. Also much quieter.
