As with most wine coolers, unless your collection is 100% Bordeaux-size bottles you won't be able to get to max capacity but with nice oversized racks on top and bottom you can double-stack your fattest bottles (Pinot Noir, Chateauneuf-de-Pape, etc) in those spots and free up space in the middle (179-bottle model). If you have bottles with a long body or elongated shoulder like many Italian and American reds you won't be able to fill up each rack fully but it still holds a lot of wine. I'll be buying more Bordeaux!Unit was very well packaged on a small pallet, protected by foam on all sides. Looks nice and is basically silent operation. Not just quiet; I'm talking almost undetectable. Only had it a few days but temperature has stabilized well, fluctuating just a degree or two from my 55F setting. Don't forget to let it stand for a day or two before you plug it in so the refrigerant settles; the most common reason for people complaining about a new wine cooler not working right. I waited 48 hours.A special hat tip to Velieta support: Since the unit has an integrated air filter with replacement recommended once a year, I went ahead and contacted [email protected] to see how (or even if) I could get some spares. "Tina" responded very quickly and placed an order for two spare filters FROM CHINA on August 12th, received in Austin Texas on August 16th - impressive shipping and they didn't even charge me anything. Honestly one of the best overseas support transactions I've ever experienced and although I haven't tested them with a technical problem I get the impression that they would be 100% responsive. Overall, highly recommended - would give six stars if I could.

Fridge arrived REALLY well packaged and was easy to install. Handles take nothing more than a screwdriver to attach. The polished stainless steel looks awesome and had no blemishes, with a mirror finish.The wine shelves initially looked too small, but easily gets 3 bottles per shelf when you "flip" the middle bottle. The initial cool down of the canned drink side to 38F took about 12-18 hours to chill the warm drinks, but now cools cans quickly.The fridge is VERY quiet and is generally only running for small periods of time. The blue LED lights look great, and this is an excellent add-on to any designer kitchen, man cave or party room.Fantastic support, the supplier reached out via email to check it had arrived and that I had no issues installing it or getting it running. Definitely recommend this product & supplier if you are looking for a new bar fridge.

I like the unit, but as in previous notes, the shelving is TIGHT! Even when I use Bordeaux bottles as recommended. This would be a great unit if they used the same size cabinet, but one less shelf to give each shelf more room. So instead of it holding 177 bottles (or whatever the number that was advertised) it would hold about 160 (if they were all Bordeaux size)Also the wood shelving isn't great quality. You get what you pay for. You could pay the same amount and get a EuroCave which only holds 100 bottles. So it's up to you.But the unit works very well. The unit is quiet and the company has been great to work with.

We ordered two of these on Prime Day. One arrived damaged, but seemed functional. However, after making sure it was all level and trying it out for a while, it still made frequent rattling noises. Velieta support was very responsive and sent a replacement quickly and without issue. The replacement and the other original unit have been great.The units themselves have easy temperature controls, and the lock helps keep our little one out. It's worth noting, though, that the lock stops the door after it's opened slightly (less than an inch), so it's possible for a child to accidentally leave it unsealed like that. Hasn't been an issue for us yet though.

Noise level is quiet, temperature control includes energy saver and arrived sooner than expected. We originally had some issues with our cooler doors not lining up due to shipping. Tina who handles after sale Customer Support for Velieta was amazing and nothing short of 5 Stars! I had an problem with the wine cooler upon arrival and gave Amazon a call right away. Amazon did as much as they were able to do which is why I shop with them. Then, a few days later the manufacturer sent me an email to check on how I felt with the purchase. I explained the problem to them an the blew my socks off. Not only did they take care of me, but they also increasd my warranty by a additional year. As they say on TV, "but wait there's more." Today, I received a very nice wine opener set as a thank you and apology for my trouble. Not only does the wine cooler work well, but they have great customer service to boot. If you're on the fence about buying this cooler, don't be. Buy it!
