The base and bottom of the stem are painting in a light gold. CARE INSTRUCTIONS: All my glassware is painted with non-toxic glass paint. It is heat-set in the oven to make it durable. To keep it beautiful for years to come, simply do the following: . Wash it by hand. . Avoid soaking it in water for long periods of time. .
