Random House Graphic Just Roll with It

One of my son’s new favorite book, we have already gotten another book by the same author. 2nd grade reader, comic like book with emotional mature content like anxiety and OCD.

This book taught me a lot I didn’t know.

My daughter has anxiety and to help support her in that we have bought her almost every graphic novel geared towards girls with ocd/anxiety. She’s read all the books we have gotten and really enjoyed them and has helped her feel less alone. So she has been going through now and reading them to me. This was the first book that I personally could just not get into at all. I tried! It’s just I don’t follow this game RPG that the girl is playing and it’s really slow moving. I much preferred (and my daughter too) Guts, Growing Pangs, Shannon Hale Friends series. Even the book Click was really enjoyable to read and it’s not about much!So I would buy this book if your child suffers from this particular form of ocd otherwise it is a skip in my opinion.Also the book does include lgbtq support in very settle way - mentioning for parents who may be trying to find books that are inclusive/supportive of lgbtq or for parents that haven’t discussed with child yet. I’ve included pictures of those pages so parents can see.
