Lehman's Mason Jar Canning Lids - Regular Mouth Lid Toppers Fit Ball and Kerr Jars, 2.75 inch Food Grade with Thick Seals, USA Made, 60 Count

Have yet to pop the lid on the jars I made this fall. All the jars sealed. The lids appear to be the same thickness as name brand.

The media could not be loaded.  So I purchased these lids back in September. The first shipment from Lehmans directly from their website, All HAD A DEFECT, a hump on the seal, see photos for example. I had water bath canned & pressure canner with no success and thought I had did something wrong myself. Which the items I canned were easy items with no fat content to mess up the seal. Finally after moping and saddened over my canning failure, The last batch i threw the lids in the sink. Upon washing, and inspecting, I realize that one whole half of the seal had no imprint, WEIRD. The ones I hadn’t trashed, I realized all had the same issue, only an imprint on half the lid. Then I noticed a hump of “bump” in the seal. On … every .. one .., of the sixty that was purchased. I contacted customer service, (Lehman’s) and I think they were Leary of my complaint. I had lost time & money over this, I had nothing to gain. Finally after 3 weeks and multiple phone calls, I FINALLY was sent a replacement. Replacement came in the mail this weekend, and .. it even had a paper inside that it was personally inspected by someone … great, ..right? WRONG, Same issue with the lids., I emailed customer Services and I received a response that they were sorry I was unsatisfied. They were defected, of course that is unsatisfactory. They sent me a prepaid label upon request and I’m shopping them back pronto. I’m so saddened, I really wanted to support an American company, but unfortunately I’ll have to stick with knock off lids until they fix this issue.

I have been using them for four months now. I believe they have more rubber than the name brand. They do take longer to seal but the button is deep when it does seal. No issues what so ever! Mennonite farmhouse YT has videos on this lid.

These are excellent made in Ohio lids.
