Cando - 26709 Palm Weights, Child Size Right Hand, 1/4 Pound

My 5 year old son has a slight tremor in his dominant hand. His occupational therapist recommended this product. I thought only a 1/4 lb. weight couldn't make that much of a difference, but wow, does it ever! Before using the glove, when he was writing, you could see squiggles in his letters from the tremors. After he puts on the glove, no squiggles! This is important since he'll soon receive grades for penmanship.

This type of product was recommended by the OT and we ordered it right away. My kiddo has a slight build and small hands and this is perfect right now. We use it during writing practice along with a pencil grip. Kiddo definitely feels the work out and does have to give hand a break sometimes. I also have kiddo use it when using the mouse on the desktop computer just for extra workout of those hand and wrist muscles. I'm not entirely sure, but it seems to also help with focus.

Works well, has helped a lot in helping my child keep his hand on the paper/desk while writing. Has good weight and material is durable. Surely, long lasting. Before he was lifting his wrist in the air and trying tor write which made it more difficult. I think it's great, and the Velcro makes it easy to put on and remove. Good product. Also comes in left hand. A+++
