The Day of the Saints: Equipping Believers for Their Revolutionary Role in Ministry

The book gives a lot of space to church history and makes many comments which the average Christian would know.There is very little prophecy, which is surprising. The author says the day of the saints is occurring now when churches have to fully equip Christians to minister effectively, but there is hardly anything worth reading.The author is a very competent Christian prophet but the book says little and is disappointing.I can’t recommend this book.

Great book

I liked the title but I bought this with trepidation and I think, for good reason. This is how false religions get started: by taking a little bit of the truth and "adding" your opinion to it. I won't resell this or even give it away, I don't want to be accountable for someone reading this, I have to throw it away. And of course, all this also, is "my" opinion!Equipping doesn't come easy, it takes preparation but a books don't usually sell when they tell you that, "This is going to take a lifetime." If we want to be equipped, buying any book about it won't do it, it will take getting on our knees and waiting on the Lord with prayer and fasting.

Please read this book after reading "The Eternal Church". This book, like "The Eternal Church is a must for all the members of the Body of Christ. It helps us to see the big picture of God's plan for Christ and the Church and helps us to break away from a religious mindset that our denominations or upbringing gave us. Him/her that have ears to hear, let him/her hear what the Spirit is saying to the Church.

Another voice joining the choir that the church needs to return to the character of Christ in the way we show love for one another and that the foundation of the church as it was laid by Christ needs to be returned to. A must read for any Christian (let alone leader) that wants to be relevant in the next generation.

As a student in ministry training school, I found The Day Of The Saints to be helpful in understanding the need to be trained and mentored. It is certainly a book I would recommend to those who are wondering , what should I be doing to further the Kingdom of God.

This book will make us do more kingdom work instead of just setting and waiting on the pastor.
