Does what it was intended to do

For years I have stored my bobbins in a small metal tin. Not anymore!This is such a help with my sewing needs.Now I can see right away what color threads I have on bobbins. No more fumbling.

They hold the bobbins securely, and I like that you can see all the bobbins through the clear plastic. The case snaps tightly, so they don't spill. I deducted a star, as the information didn't state which size/style of bobbins these are for, and my Featherweight bobbins are narrower and longer than the holes. No matter, they still work.

These are far better than my previous bobbin box as it had them sitting in there loosely, sliding around making noise and coming unwound. These are nice because nothing moves there’s a lot of slots and I’m not scared to break the lid when opening or closing like my last where the lid would pop off randomly. My only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 was one of the cases came cracked idk if that was a shipping issue or what. It hasn’t been a problem but you know you want whatever you pay for to be in the condition you expect

I sew using a variety of fabrics requiring different color thread. I also need to take my machine "on the road" to sew for others. These bobbin cases keep the thread-filled bobbins from unwinding and visible in the foam inserts. The case is NOT a hard, brittle plastic, so holds up well. While the cases are a new purchase to accommodate a larger bobbin, I've used another for many years. They also have 2 latches to secure the lid. One could also be used to hang the cases (eg. a pegboard). As you can see from the photo I haven't even wound thread on the new bobbins yet.

Too much room between where the bobbins are set in the foam and the top. The bobbins easily come out of their slots.

First time I have actually found something that works for my bobbins. And it is clear so it only take a second to find your bobbin.
