Nailed It! Lightweight. Cuts a 2x10 Like Butter. Well Done Metabo!
Nailed it! This feels nearly just as light as my DeWalt 20V and my Craftsman 20V Circular saws. They struggle on a 2x6, especially on the back side of the cut. This saw cuts through a 2x10 without effort. Just like it's butter. Bigger 7-1/4 blade vs the 6-1/2. Still light weight. Rear handle. Blade on the left side. SUPER smooth operation. NOTHING remaining to be desired. Just flat nailed it. Well done Metabo! Well Done!

36V for Monster-fast cuts
This thing is a 36V Monster for the back deck demo. Able to slice through old decking 2x6 boards rapidly. This saw is in a different class over my 18V brushless from another brand.

Look no Further
I use this saw every day building homes, it sees HEAVY use. I can run this saw all day on 2 6ah batteries, all my coworkers prefer to use it over their Milwaukee rear-handle saws. This saw is lighter and better balanced than any saw I've had to date, this saw is what convinced me to end up buying all Metabo battery tools. Some are a hit, others a miss (handheld sawzal), but this saw is durable and powerful enough to cut all four sides of a PSL 6x6 without losing power.

Overall very happy with it
It's a really nice saw, and well built. The pros; its powerful, and really light weight, That's really nice when cutting 4x4 fence post or cutting up high. The sight lines are really nice, and is very comfortable in my hand. It has a nice rafter hook. And overall gets the job done. The depth is easy to set and easy to cut bevels. The Cons; it has a safety switch above the trigger handle. For me personally it's kind of a pain to reach for every time I want to make a cut. Also the saw dust shoots out of the side and not down like I'm used to. It has an adapter that if you put it on, the saw dust shoots directly at you. not a fan of that design. I'm sure you could put some kind of catch on it. But that would interfere with the sight line imo. Keep in mind it's not a true worm drive saw in the true sense. It's in the style of a worm drive saw (rear handle saw) I've been a west coast carpenter for over 30 years and was trained on the old skilsaw HD77 so that's the style I'm most comfortable with. Having said that. don't expect the power of a true worm drive saw. But up until this point, I've had no trouble making cross cuts, rip cuts, seat cuts or bevel cuts. I've put it through its paces and is more than serviceable. In a style of saw that I'm most comfortable with.

Well worth the price.
This circular saw is meant for rougher cuts so it's very good for framing, concrete forms and ripping boards. It's fairly lighter compared to a similar saw from another brand I've tried and also more compact. It became my day-to-day saw fairly quickly since there is little resistance while cutting the wood/boards and you can get decent cuts for finer projects. For the price of it I can highly recommend it.

Lightweight and Powerful
I needed a battery powered circular saw for quick cuts and small projects around the house. I already had a track saw, so I didnโt need something accurate or specialized, just your basic circular saw. Iโm glad I went for the Metabo, as itโs been brilliant. Itโs lightweight and well built, with plenty of power and a decent OEM blade. The 36v battery is nice step up from Red or Ryobiโs 18v options, without being twice the price of Yellow or Blue options. While Metabo HPT is considered a โPro Lineโ of tools, their offerings are a better value, even if limited selection. Cant wait to see what other 36v MultiVolt tools they release in the future.

Excellent Tools - Contractor grade
I added this to my collection of Metabo tools as I make the transition from another brand of cordless tools. Good build quality and this saw is lighter to comparable other brands. We have every colour tool in our stable and this is turning out to be at the top of the performance list.

Great production saw
Very impressed with how light it is, plenty of power. Time will tell if itโs as durable as the Makita rear handle but so far very impressed

This thing is Awesome!
Purchased this saw because I had a long time favorite worm drive saw and wanted to go cordless. This saw is not a worm drive, but it's light and I really like the adjustment points and how they function. I have no problem recommending this saw.
