Great for hatchling. Would not recommend for Juvenile/SubAdult/Adult. Sturdy and easy to clean. No cracks or structural issues. Be aware of the size dishes and hides you get as space is limited.

Was very small but works for my juvenile leopard gecko for now! When the package came a one of the decor was broken into million of pieces also the cave is so big that it comes with it takes up all the space in the tank

I bought this for a leopard gecko. It definitely is a starter kit at 10 gallon, for use with juveniles. Will need to buy a 20 gallon eventually. This kit doesn’t have everything you’ll need. I had to spend an additional $100 at a pet store before they’d sell me the gecko, because this kit wasn’t enough to keep the gecko healthy. The gecko is going to need a heat lamp with both a day and night bulb. The gecko will need a second hide with moss as the gecko will need to switch between cool and warm body temps. A second bowl is recommended to put the calcium so that they don’t get brittle bones (but you could always just dust the insects just before they are eaten). As well, they recommend a hydrometer, which isn’t included. Also, keep in mind the food you’ll need. The geckos eat about 5-10 mini crickets a day. You’ll need food /water for the crickets, as well as a small container for them, unless you are willing to run out to the local pet store on a daily basis.I looked through the questions in here and some aren’t answered correctly. The tank itself isn’t raised, but they do provide small, self adhesive ‘feet’ that give it a little extra height if placed on the corners of the tank. Also, the kit provides a thermometer, not a thermostat. And, one reviewer is right in that the substrate mat does have loose sand. Will have to shake it out before placing in the tank, so that the gecko doesn’t accidentally eat any of it and get sick.

Nice cage , mine came in broke . We sent photos of the damage and was told we would receive a refund but it never happened . Was able to superglue pieces and salvage it but the cage and accessories are legit . I have two happy leopard geckos .

I was disappointed in this kit. I liked the fact that this kit came with a substrate, hide, day/night light, feed bowl and calcium/multi vitamin, however what I didn't realize until we unpacked and set it all up was that the day/night light was not a heat source which is required by a Leopard Gecko. The substrate is nice however the rocks do come off which causes concern for impaction. We are having to spend more money on lights and fixtures to provide ample heat and UVB,additional feed bowl, and substrate. I wish ExoTerra would include a heat/uvb lamp vs just a light fixture!
