Works great and got here fast

I bought this for a cheap tool to take with me on the go instead of my 3 in 1 tool. This thing is better than I expected. The only thing I'd change would be to add a bit more weight. Other than that it's a basic tamper with a nice spoon style end to clean any dottle/ash out at the end of your smoke.

The nail is made of aluminum, so it's very light. The nail head fits perfectly in standard metal pipe bowls and the spoon works decent as a scraper. Overall it's a solid tool that should last as long as I can keep from losing it.

Such a simple tool and though it is really easy to lose since it's basically a special nail- but I do like it. It's not pricey though I am sure it's cheap as heck to make. It won't bend on you, it has a nice scoop on the end, it's light and not like a real nail as far as the feel and weight. It simply works and if you can get a few on the cheap- I say it's nice to have one packed here and there for the casual pipe smoker. I really can't complain.

This Chinese-made tamper serves its purpose. Quality is fair. It is lightweight—if that is important to you. My opinion, spend a little more $ and get a nicer tamper that is three tools in one. I’ll likely pass this one on to a friend and continue to use one of my nicer tampers.

Just getting into pipes so I wanted an actual tamp. looking around they have so many of those little 3 in 1s but the reviews warn of a flimsy product. Then I found this, Its the cheapest option for a tamp, but you get a nice solid metal pipe nail. Nothing fancy, but works great. Also, I ordered two and they threw in another. so thanks!

This is good to have when you're on a walk and need to unpack your pipe a bit. Wish it was a bit longer, maybe I can get an iron Smith to hammer out some longer nails.

I have been using cheap pipe nails like this for 60 years. For £10.10 you should get 5-6 nails. If you can wait a while, you can get them much cheaper on eBay. These guys are taking the mic.

You get what you pay for. The head of the nail (the tamping part) has an uneven material thickness which gives it a cheap/unrefined quality but it does the job.
