Perfect Fit for Fresh-Aire UV System
Arrived next day and was exactly as described. Perfect replacement bulb for Fresh-Aire UV system. Very easy to install and appears the same as the previous bulb which lasted about two years. Comes packed in several layers of protective corrugated box. I reused the packaging to safely dispose of the old bulb.

Saved about $250 (the HVAC company quoted me $280!!). I changed it all by myself. It did not come with the gloves they mention. However, because you are not supposed to touch the glass bulb with your hands, I just kept the protective foam sheet that was wrapped around the bulb intact until I plugged it in. Remember to shut off the power first, because once you plug in the new bulb, it will turn on. It gets bright and hot quickly. Turn the power back on after your re-install it. They say it's supposed to last 2 years or more; my last one worked for over 3 years. I will buy this again in the future.

It's a perfect replacement for the original bulb.
I purchased this as a replacement for a bulb that was installed by my air conditioner service company. They wanted to replace the whole unit, not just the bulb. They wanted over $400 to do it. This allowed me to restore the unit to full function in a few minutes at a fraction of the cost. The bulb is exactly like the original and installs with a simple plug on one end.Take note of whether your original bulb has a small notch in the edge of the base. If you get the one without the notch, but need it, the bulb won't fit. If you get it with the notch, it will work whether you need the notch or not.
