Petmate Kennel Water Cup

so I got this for my Kaytee rat cage for my rats and it fit perfectly, super easy to put in and take ut of the cage, durable and easy to clean, then I got the critter nation cage and it didn't fit because the bars are too small! Great quality for $1 and definitely recommend! Also its to small for a dog or cat.

I wanted to wait before I posted my review to see how this held up & I have to say i’m pleasantly surprised. We use one side for water and one side for food for our cat and it’s plenty big enough for him. This is also the cheapest I’ve ever found a food/water bowl for a kennel so definitely a plus! Would purchase again for the price.

My little 19 lb dog tends to get real excited and knock this off the crate but it's easy to put back on. It won't break easily but it's just for a small dog. It's not big enough for a dog over 20 lbs in my opinion. It is split in the middle and not very deep. I tend to fill it a couple of times when she has to be in there in 3-4 hours.

Needed a place to put my dogs water when I left for work and every time I put his bowl in he would spill it :( But this product works so well because he can’t spill the water anywhere. It clips right into his cage and I can take it out just as easily to clean it. For such a cheap price this is a MUST HAVE for people who keep their dogs in a crate!

This is recommended as an Add-on item for a 30-50lb pet carrier. A toy Chihuahua would have a hard time eating and/or drinking out of this thing, let alone a 50lb dog. It is something like 6"x3"x1.5", with 2 compartments (one for food, one for water). It was a completely useless purchase, and should be removed from the addons list for any carrier that fits more than a 3lb animal, as it will be too small for them to use. It is my fault for not looking at the product, and assuming that the "buy these 3 items with 1 click!" option would pair appropriate items - I'm just trying to save someone in the future from making the same mistake.

I wanted to like this, but it turns out I like the idea better than the actual execution. I use one half for food and one for water, but when you clip it on a crate, it tilts down a little in the front, so you can only fill the water halfway or it spills. I also find that the water seeps into the food dish if the crate is jostled at all (i.e. in a car). In retrospect, while the double dish seemed convenient, I think I'd have been better off getting two single ones and have one for food and one for water so they they don't bleed into each other. Or maybe a double dish with water in both sides, since you can't fill the water all the way up without it spilling. The clips work fine, it's easy to clean and it's not badly made, but for the purpose of putting food and water in one place, it's not idea.

I bought this product to place under the water bottle in the guinea pig cage since I have not been able to find a water bottle that doesn't leak. This catches the the dripping water so it doesn't wet the bedding. It connects onto the cage well, it is sturdy and does not take up much space. If I were to use it as a food bowl it would work ok. I don't think I would use one side as a water bowl, though. I think if it was partitioned into food/water it wouldn't work well as it is not a large bowl and food would probably get into the water. Anyway, best 79 cents I spent all year!

Price point great. We re home and sometimes this involves transport. The back that attaches too carrier is long enough to get a tight lasting grip; have used on 3- different carriers- its not that it doesn't attach At FIRST its that it doesn't STAY. If you want it too quickly pass thru the airport ok. But if you NEED It to Actually HOLD Food & Water without pulling Off if your pet puts a paw on it then expect a MESS. Which it will give you & get your pet wet. We received 4 (all 4 have same Exact Shape) perhaps it was that (batch) but I won't Trust On line~purchase again Only In Store ~because of all "4" it is ineffective/just for looks.

Me gustó mucho el artículo, yo lo use para la jaula de mi periquito, tiene dos espacios, uno para semillas y el otro para agua, trae unos ganchitos que hace que se coloque en la jaula. El tamaño adecuado.

Aunque el artículo funciona perfecto, siento que es un poco caro para la calidad, esperaba un acabado más detallado pero sinceramente es algo que fácilmente encontraría en tiendas como Waldos o similares.

Ordered this for my cat's kennel as we are shipping him by commercial air this summer. I fits perfectly in the door, and we will freeze some water into it prior dropping him off at the air cargo desk. This one is definitely better than the last one we had.
