We're family??
The 2nd book in a 3 book series concerning the growing relationship between a half-brother and half-sister(no blood relation) and the drive for the bastard to get revenge against his father. This is the background for the mystery of who is the target of an ongoing murder attempt. The story is a bit slow and has seemly drawn-out sections that add a little info but could have combined into other parts of the story. All in all, not a bad read for the mature reader.

More Eric and Harper, yes please
The Princess picks up right where book one left off and we are taken on another crazy ride with bumps all along the way.Eric and Harper are still trying to deal with the truths that came to light previously, while dealing with the hired guns that tried to take out Harper, and everything else that seems to be going on. Now in New York, you'd think they'd be safe, but they only seem to be in more trouble, and more plot twists are delivered in this book.I loved all of the twists and turns in this book, and the secrets that came to light, and the hidden truths that seem to still be buried between these two characters, but I wasn't a fan of Eric and Harper always seeming to have to rehash everything that they already talked about over and over again. I felt like it took away from the plot moving forward in this book.Towards the end of this book though, things got really good, and I was kicking myself knowing that I was going to have to wait to to see how this series played out, since Lisa Renee Jones is known for cliffhangers, and this is a trilogy... so I knew I was going to be hit hard with a cliffhanger, and I was right. Now I need The Empire to release ASAP so I can see how Harper and Eric's story ends, and what all of these secrets are, and if there's anything else they are keeping from one another.

EXCELLENT Again 😁
Family, what won't we let them do to us and what will we do for them 🤔? This whole series is about family and what secrets and lies we can live with 😉. Thanks again Lisa, I can't wait to see where this is going 🤓.

Cringe Moments
I like the premise of this trilogy but I had 2 struggles as I started Book 2. What I struggled with a bit was the repetitive dialogue between Eric and Harper. What I struggled with the most was the fact they don't appear to bathe or clean themselves at all. After multiple rounds of sex - oral, unprotected - and bodily discharge over the course of 2 days, they were still operating with no shower. This distressed me.

Sexy chemistry mixed with suspense
The Princess The Princess is book 2 in the Filthy Trilogy. The story starts where The Bastard left off. Harper is written brilliantly as she tries to prove to Eric that she understands him and wants him no matter what. Her strength and perseverance helps keep her head clear. She knows what she wants and is determined to get it. Eric on the other hand, can be an idiot. And I have a love/hate relationship with him for that. I understand his “issues” but dang he has a strong woman who wants to be by his side. He needs to realize what he has and stop trying to walk away. The grip that Harper has on him is no match for his demons. Harper and Eric are perfect as a couple and a team you don’t want to mess with. They have resources, aka Walker Security, that are unmatched. I am looking forward to read whats next for Eric and Harper in The Empire. Once again, Lisa mixes the right amount of suspenders, demons, and sexy chemistry to keep you reading. Another 5 star addition to the Filthy Trilogy.

AWESOME!!!
THE PRINCESS by Lisa Renee Jones, is the second in what has become a trilogy (Filthy Trilogy) instead of a duet in the next part of the ‘Dirty Rich’ series. More books, more to read, more to love!! What more could you ask for?Warning!!These books are NOT standalones, so don’t even try to read them as such, lol.Part one, The Bastard, ended in a massive cliffhanger and the wait to find out what happened next was excruciating to say the least. But, in true Lisa style, what came next was not what I had imagined. It’s better, absolutely, amazing and brilliant. I loved getting to grips with the storyline, with Harper and Eric searching for answers, seeing the Walker brothers again and being allowed the little glimpses into the lives of Grayson and Mia too. This book is full of twists and turns though and it’s hard to see which way is up. Now, we have to wait AGAIN, for book three The Empire to get the conclusion to this dramatic, heart-racing story. I don’t know about you but I’m ready for it RIGHT NOW, Lisa. Gimmmeee, gimmeee!!!

wow
Harper and Eric are back in the second book of the Filthy Duet series in The Princess. Eric and Harper are working together to figure out who is behind everything that is going down with in the family business. Lives are in danger. Secrets start coming out. You will get sucked into their world and wish you had the final book already by the time you finish this one. I love how well Harper and Eric work together. You feel the connection that is pulling them together. Harper has a great understanding of how Eric's mind works. I seriously can't wait to find out who is behind everything. Lisa Renee Jones has done a fabulous job on stringing us along throughout this series. If you haven't met Eric and Harper yet you need to. They are so hot together. I need the next book like now.

The secrets and lies continues in this suspenseful romance
The Princess is the continuation of the The Bastard with its huge cliffhanger. Secrets were slowly being divulged. Lies were caught and betrayal hangs above their heads.Eric, with him being a savant, a gift as it is a curse for him, struggles with his emotional process. He's more statistical in his approach and with him having a hard time processing things without having his full focus, he struggles greatly in this book. It has both positive and negative impact for him and Harper. Add to the fact he's got a huge abandonment issue. Being distrustful and closed-off is just second nature to him.As the story stretches, I'm eager to find out the secrets that being kept on both sides of the MCs as well as who is really behind all the mess the Kingston Empire is facing. The author did well twisting the story and dropping another huge plot twist and ending the book with another huge cliffhanger. Can't wait to find out the rest of the story in the next and final book.

keeps you guessing
I read the first book "barstard" in an anthology and really enjoyed it so continued with books 2 and 3, how Eric, the barstard and savant , also self made billionaire, (no thanks to his father)meets Harper his step sister, who really "gets" him, they take on the family to discover what is happening in the business but nothing is what it seems, loved the intrigue, and the connection between the 2 who both wanted to trust each other but were very hesitant, well written, good plot and great chemistry between the characters

Great follow on
This part picks up right where the last one left off. The Kingstons remain a mystery as to wether they are culprits or victims. After listening to his phone messages, Eric goes back just in time to rescue Lauren from an attack. She is relieved to see him, after thinking that they had parted ways for good. He quickly takes her with him since has all intentions of claiming her for his own. The thing is that they are both harbouring secrets. What those secrets are remain to be seen.Although repetitive in places, this is a good follow on to the first book. Eric's personality is revealed in more depth. Lauren says that she is all in, but she doesn't come across as being invested in Eric as he is in her.Unless I read this piece wrong, Lauren isn't the only one who knows about Eric father's visit. Gigi is in the know too, after her discussion with Lauren.<bi>“Why is Eric’s father here in New York City?” I demand. “He’s—what?” “Don’t tell me you don’t know.”</b>I don't know if this is an oversight or not, and besides that, this book is full of mystery and intrigues. The passion between Eric and Lauren is really steamy. There is danger in every corner. Who is the real target(s)?Even though, this part is lengthy in places, I thoroughly enjoyed the storyline and can't wait to see what transpires next. I would like to know who is being targeted and why?

Another outstanding 5* read
Hells bloody bells, I honestly don’t know how much my damned heart can take when it comes to this series...... I seriously am in the dark as to just who is doing what when it comes to messing with Eric & Harper...The cliffhanger we were left with in this instalment finds me with everything crossed that our leading pair aren’t torn apart by the latest secrets about to be revealed!!!!The Princess was all I expected it to be and more and I’m on tender hooks waiting for the release of The Empire to finally discover who is good, bad and truly duplicitous!!!!Another outstanding 5* read from Lisa Renee Jones

WOW soooooo good
After listening to The Bastard I was totally hooked excellent book, so obviously I had to purchase The Princess to get my fill of Eric and Harper's struggle to trust one another and the plot does thicken. This book is exciting, you really can't put these books down. I have to go purchase The Empire as I can't wait to find out whether these two will weather the storms to come. GREAT read. Definitely recommend this trilogy. Get stuck in to a really good story you won't be disappointed!
