Originally, Velcro held very well. I used it as a support for low back. After about 2 weeks, because the Velcro hit the same spot every use, the material started to break down, and it lost its ability to remain in place - Velcro would no longer hold. Very disappointed.

I wear this as a back support during vacuuming, lawn mowing and long distance riding. I am slender, and this belt works better than any ribbed or wide width back support I have tried for lower back spinal problems. When I am in pain, I wear this under my clothes for normal daily activities. I have given one to my daughter as she likes the support it provides.

Held a warm pack and ice pack in place.

This is an easy wrap for my back, which puts pressure right where I need it. They come in many sizes, so you should be able to use it yourself. This was recommened by my physical therapist.

My son needed something after knee surgery that wouldn't continuously fall off. This is perfect.
