Very interesting retrospective. My one disappointment was in "Minnie the Moocher", which was a very early recording when his voice was quite high. I would liked to have heard a later version in lower voice, but to NOT know Cab Calloway's work is to not know American music...

Cab can do no wrong .. he was an innovator and a master and his music still resonates today. If you love 1930's-40's big band sounds, you will love Mr. Calloway's greatest hits.
