Once I started reading I couldn't put it down
Where do I start, I was a bit wary about reading a screenplay because of the format, it was all new to me but oh boy am I glad I tried. Once i started reading I couldn't put the thing down. I laughed out loud on the train attracting some wierd looks but I didnt care this screenplay was well worth it. So many people can relate to the story within this screenplay and I even welled up at the end it was so beautiful. If you enjoy reading books I promise you wont regret trying this screenplay.

If you enjoy a well-told story that makes you smile
If you enjoy a well-told story that makes you smile, do yourself a favour . . . discover Heather Grace Stewart's books. They are well worth discovering.

Screen plays
Not my way to read, but the story is cute. I like the Jessica and Brian and Jack triangle, but I prefer to use my imagination for settings and such.

I loved it!
I've been in a Heather Grace Stewart reading kick lately, and I have to say, The Friends I've Never Met has been my favorite so far. It's a screenplay format so I kind of hesitated to jump in. But there was no need to shy away. I loved the progression of the relationships. Stewart's work usually has depth and relatability, but this one really resonated with me. So good. I laughed. I cried. And I cheered for triumphs.

Inspiration for the Soul Wanting More
I've only read one other screenplay in my life (thus far) and to be honest, I was worried how I would receive this one given my prior experience. I was surprised, in the best way possible. As an author myself, I could relate very well to the feelings of internal doubt broached by Jessica Page in this offering. While there are certainly well-crafted elements of romance (in terms of love and relationships), there is a deeper identification with romanticism in this screenplay that begs the reader to be inspired for something more, even if more is sometimes less. With a vivid depiction of the surroundings as well as stellar segues between scenes, this reader could see the movie playing out in my mind's eye. This is an easy read (easier than some novels for me) with layers of depth inside each character that can be explored through multiple reads. My only unmet wish for this screenplay is that it has not been yet produced for the big screen. Hopefully, someone will make that so.
