Can you use GPS offline?

Yes but you have to first download the maps then they'll be in your unit and then you can use offline by the satellite

does this unit support video out for a second video monitor..installed in the rear?

It does have RCA out but it will only show DVD’s or Line In. I can’t seem to mirror the android screen from headunit to play movies from Plex and other streaming services onto the screen behind. Monitor will just say “no signal” if you pop out the dvd or play Plex or Netflix.

Whats the radio wifi password for the radio to connect to a samsung s5 ?

You have to create a WiFi network. Assuming you’re using a mobile device. You would need to enable a “mobile hotspot”, which would tell you the broadcast SSID, and create a password. Then from the stereo. Go to settings and under WiFi connect to that SSID using the information from your mobile device. The WiFi antenna is very weak is this unit and requires extreme proximity to the broadcasting device (your phone)

Preloaded maps a false statement.

Maps are not loaded as advertised. Not easy to connect to hotspot and when it does its not good enough to download what's needed for gps. Support was great at getting back to me but couldn't resolve the issue. This is a bad buy if you really want navigation.

One of the best devices I have ever owned

So far an excellent head unit!!! came with android 6(!), accepts cds and Bluetooth, even seems rooted, all languages supported. Build quality actually is very good, solid feeling, removable face plate, One minor gripe is a little off by a millimeter- the touch screen sensitivity in the bottom right. has a floating home button to easy access apps and favourites. Syncs with the phone and call quality is great, people hear me fine. accepts sd cards and usb, yet to check how to move apps there- they are detected by file manager but not by android storage area. The system has even busybox fully installed and updated! very good job on the software side. when car is off the screen retracts and afterwards remembers instantly where it was playing- a sort of sleep function without rebooting. Keep in mind the system rom takes up 8.5 out of 11gb free space, so will need to find solution for that, I'm sure it will be fine. All in all, very happy with the bang for buck value, and overall a great unit. Will see about durability.

nice product, but my blue tooth audio skips now after 1 week of use.. I paired a 2nd phone just to be sure, and it still malfunctioned..not happy about that, other then that it's pretty nice for a 99 bucks.. maybe mines is just defected..
