Although this was my daughters favorite book as a small child I always found it slightly odd and disturbing

I'm a former children's librarian who has to say: I'm stunned that this book has only one previous review. I know countless children who became obsessed with this book once they were introduced to it. I bought it 10 copies at a time for my branch, over and over, so wildly did it circulate. Buy this, set a three or four year old on your lap, and share it. Then keep it, so that they will have it to share with their children.

This book changed my life when it was read to me as a child. I'll never forget it. It's a book for the creative dreamer, and perhaps the future entrepreneur.

Despite the listing stating the book was in good condition, it was very poor. The book corners appear to have been chewed and the pages dirty and damaged. Very disappointed
