This is the third book in the series that I have purchased.And there's no doubt that the Author is skilled in her craft.However I never liked this book as much as the others , and skipped through a large part of the bookIn the middle, there is a nasty chapter where the main female character is sexually abused, and tortured, which was both unnecessary, and upsetting. So I never enjoyed this book, and the story was spoilt because of it

Came upon this book in error! Decided to start reading it, then was caught up in the adventures! Did not know of the other books incorporating the Brooch and their powers! Looking forward to reading more. Loved the romance inclusion!

This is the first of this series I have read and thorough thorough​ly enjoyed the concept with its different take on time travel. I did feel the swear words were gratuitous and not necessary for the story but would read another by this author

I have read all of the series up to this one - number 4. They are a good holiday read, sexy, fast paced but not historically accurate. I suggest these are written by an American, for an American audience, and basing this one in the U.K. is a step too far for the author. For example a well educated lady in London would not call a "mortician" if someone "passed" but would call an "undertaker" if someone "passed away". I could go on, but others have also pointed out the historical inaccuracies.

It is the 4th book in this great saga, a wonderful creative story am now reading the next book broken brooch and will continue until I have read all eight of them can’t put them down so good.
