I can't believe there aren't more options for this kind of foot file.

This removes all the dead tissues of the skin and makes the skin smooth.The pedi tool itself can be easily cleaned with water. The handle is strong and durable.a high-quality pedi tool I bought this for my mother, and she was extremely happy with the gift.

This foot file is ok. I did a pedicure with it and I guess I’m so use to cheese graters I didn’t care for it much but cheese graters are not good for the feet. This is a better option. Best to use on dry feet however

This Foot File did a gentle job in exfoliating a callus on ball of my foot and in smoothing out my heels. Perhaps if you had very thick calluses and corns, you would need a more heavy-duty file/grate. I noticed when I opened the box, there was a sticky feel to the file - I thought at first there was some type peel-off label on it. However, once I used the file, the stickiness went away so I'm not sure why it was like that. This is my first time using a glass foot file, so maybe that's the way the files are protected for shipping. Anyway, I'm pleased with the results of this foot file.

It does a decent job for me, however I personally prefer a pumice stone, the glass is a bit too rough on my feet, however I don’t have any callouses or dry/cracked feet so I used it mainly for removing dead skin. My boyfriend on the other hand loves this product for his dry calloused feet! It works wonders for him and removes quite a bit of dead skin 🤢

The cleanup is pretty easy and I do recommend a very soft brush to remove debris, isn't that hilarious, debris? That means trash. Body trash. Well, this kind is okay to deal with. A very soft brush to remove the debris, then rinse, then lay the glass part face down on a washcloth or something soft to dry on its own.I take care of my feet and have no issues but as I only wear flip-flops and sandals on rare occasions out, I am barefoot almost 90% of the time and you naturally pick up dust or stuff off the floor, and it may make four feet feel just the slightest bit not as smooth, just sometimes. So, as I said, I have no problems that I actually need this file for but use it before bathing and then after washing my feet they are just as pretty as a peach! And smooth as silk. The smooth kind. And look great on the bottom. There! Happy now?Okay, in other words, if you haven't guessed already, I highly recommend this. I cannot speak to roughness and callous removal but will honestly say that I am positive it will remove those too, layer by layer, safely, and most likely give an even nicer result than the ginormous cheese grater you may be using now. I have some of those and compared them to my cheese and carrot grater...there is NO difference. I love this file.

Big picture: I love this thing. It really does seem to speedily sheer through dry skin, and leave the healthy skin shiny without piercing it (causing bleeding, etc.). Additionally, this item cleans like a dream. The problem with the pumice stones I'm used to encountering is that they're slow to work, can easily hurt you if you aren't paying attention, wear out, and don't clean easily. This thing seems to be holding up perfectly though.I gave 4 stars mostly because of the thing's shape (which may be necessary, considering it's glass). I wish it were rounded, because the flat design makes it difficult to reach certain angles, and sees you cleaning the item more routinely than I'm used to.Again, however, this is an amazing choice at a great price. I won't be going back to pumice stones; that much I'm sure of. Give it a try!
