Mac Motion Denmark Comfort Chair, Light Grey

This nice looking chair seems sturdy and rotates nicely. However, it does sit a little bit hard in my opinion. It also was somewhat difficult to assemble, even with my husband helping. We ran into two problems: One of the 5 holes in the metal piece to attach the base to the chair didn't have threads for the last bolt to be screwed in. We didn't want to wait for a replacement part, so we just used four bolts. The other disappointment was that the holes in the wood base of the ottoman didn't line up with the metal piece to attach it. We had to drill larger holes in the wood base to make it work.

No assembly instructions for a product that costs over $200 is automatically looses a star, but this was not too hard to figure out assembly with out instructions. The chair is not comfortable however. The ottoman only lines up if the chair is fully up right and is then useless unless you enjoy sitting at a hard 45 degrees ( like back againt the wall legs strait on the floor). The reclining mechanism requires acrobatics to lock once desired reclining angle is achieved since it looks like a leaver but is just a screwing knob that will quickly become worne out. The worst part is the chair simply is perched on the pedestal with out any mechanical connection past a pole in a hole. Even with instructions I couldn't rate this over one star, its just bad.
