Lastest Apple TV 4K 5th 2017, 4th 2015 Generation Wall Mount 2017

Very simple and useful device. I mounted it behind my TV on the wall to hold my apple TV unit. The bracket is made of metal and I was concerned that this might scratch the apple TV but the bracket doesn't have rough or sharp edges so I am not worried as much. Worth the cost. This item was cheaper than many similar brackets available on Amazon.

When I bought I thought this would be cheap plastic but surprisingly it is very sturdy metal that holds the Apple TV perfectly.

Very simple; the Apple TV slides in just fine. It's sturdy steel and as such is easy to recycle if the Apple TV form factor changes in the future, so at least it won't end up as part of an island of plastic waste floating in the sea. It seems to be be painted black, instead of being powder-coated, so if you intend to wack it into other metal things, you can expect that the finish will be damaged.

This clever holder works exactly as advertised and allows me to mount it on the back of my TV out of site! I used it together with EchoGear Universal Streaming Device Mount and mounted my Ethernet switch up and out of the way too!

Easy to install and fits perfectly

A few quick notes: 1. You must insert the Apple TV a specific direction or else it won't fit. Unfortunately that means the top of the unit is sliding into the holder, and could potentially scrape your AppleTV. This does not seem to be necessary if they added just the tiniest amount of metal. 2. When you're installing this unit, you'll likely want the AppleTV to to still receive an IR signal, but you don't actually want to align exactly with the edge of your TV. The AppleTV will stick out of the holder a tad, so take that into consideration during installation. Despite these two notes, I'm very pleased and definitely think this is a 5 star product.

Does NOT fit 4th generation. Way too large so Apple TV moves around inside of bracket. NOT a custom fit bracket. Could not use.
