My Mom recently purchased some food items from ‘Modern Bazaar’, an offline store selling all kinds of food products, of Indian and foreign origin. This product was among those purchased.From brand ‘Hersheys’ under its “Reese’s” range of products, it is a milk chocolate bar: composed of peanuts (26%), peanut butter (17%), and caramel (17%).The milk chocolate component serves as the perfect ‘foil’ for the peanut-based components to ‘shine’ through and through.When tasted, the peanuts come across as coarsely chopped and lightly salted. They have a ‘crunch’ and ‘bite’ to them, which ensures textural contrast with the smooth milk chocolate coating. They are felt in each and every ‘morsel’ of the bar.The peanut butter component is composed of the ‘creamy’ variant of peanut butter. It has the classic “Reese’s” peanut butter flavour.The caramel component is slightly runny and sweet. It is not ‘salted caramel’. It balances out the ‘salt’ present in the bar via the other components, whilst ensuring that the bar does not ‘dry’ one’s mouth when consumed.The bar might be interpreted as the ‘Hersheys’ version of ‘Snickers’ bar, albeit without the nougat component of the latter.All the components complement each other very well, resulting in a product which is utterly moreish.I have had this bar a few years ago, and it is still every bit as good as it was, at that point in time.Overall, this product is well worth the purchase.
