Cute and warm hat
I bought this for my son.. he loves it. It fits him really well but I could see if one had a head on the smaller side this might be a bit big. (It does have a cord to adjust it.) It’s waterproof and works well in light rain. It seems very well made. I had bought a similar hat from a known retailer for twice the price but returned it bc my son liked this hat much better.

Good for the money.
I have a small head (size 57) so this hat is a bit loose on me. You can tighten up the strap running around the hat, however the biggest issue is that the tightening mechanism is in the rear of the hat which hits a headrest and pokes the back of your head. This bothered me so much, I finally removed the tightening mechanism and wear the hat loose. It is waterproof enough that it keeps light showers from soaking through, but I worry what it would do in a downpour. The brim helps keep the low sun out of my eyes. The ear covers fold down and up, but do not protect when it gets a bit windy. I tend to wear a thin knit hat under this hat when colder than 40F, or windy. So other than the tightening mechanism on the back of the hat, I really like this hat.

You won't find a better hat of this type for winter wear!
This is a great winter hat with ear flaps that cover entire ears and back of neck with a perfect fit for warmth. Hat is perfect for cold snowy days here in No. IL where I just went out in 10 degree weather with the wind blowing around 20 knots. Adjusts to fit any size head. Bill is more than adequate for shade from winter sun. Surprised it was made in UK for the price of only $12. Well constructed - keep up the good work Brits!!!!

Best winter hat I’ve ever owned.
This is the only hat I wear and have for winter. I have a very large head and this one size fits all hat fits well on my large bulbous melon. Sometimes I cannot find this hat so I end up ordering another I’ve done this several times and now have five. Ear flaps are great up or down depending. I’m not sure if this hat is waterproof but I have worn it several times in the rain and it does quite well, i’m very happy with this hat.

Water repellent and ear flaps!!! 😁
Late fall in New England and there are dogs to exercise in the woods. It rains, or it’s misty, or there’s fog, or you get to experience all of them within an hour. Maybe throw in a snow squall for good measure. Then the wind starts blowing and the temperature starts falling and before you know it, cold ears and sopping wet head. Sure I have hoods but you try to keep your face, glasses, and noggin warm and dry while your hood is blowing off. I have been looking for a cap like this for years. Ears covered just enough to keep the moisture off and the wind from chilling them. Nice draw string to keep it on. The bill is a little shorter than a baseball call but a baseball cap isn’t going to keep your head dry and your ears warm. The lining isn’t thick but that works for me because I don’t want sweaty hair either! Throw in it’s less than $20 and I am more than happy. Final thought, this is not a fashion statement cap. It’s just smart and functional.

Nice, well made
Nice! Fits my head which is about 22.5 inches, but probably not one that is much larger. It’s great for cold, windy days, but it’s somewhat lightweight so not for below freezing temperatures.

Fantastic cap... waterproof and warm! Perfect for wet west coast winters.
Bought this cap for winter running. Wanted the ear flaps to not only keep my ears warm, but also to protect my fancy earbuds from the rain we get onto Pacific West Coast. This Is absolutely perfect, use it a lot for walking, use it from time to time for running when the weather is wet and/or wet and cold. My husband asked me to order a cat for him as well. A great investment.Update: Hubby loves the cap too. In particular, the sizing is adjustable, so it fits his head perfectly, and of course....he loves the waterproof exterior and the warm fleece lining.

Great cap for winter
I bought this cap for use on the boat in the winter and it is meeting my expectations beautifully. It kept me warm while all day on the water in near freezing temperatures. Being waterproof is the extra bonus during PNW winters. Wish it was available in white or cream colour. I don’t think it would stay on in windy conditions without also having the hood from my jacket overtop of the cap to keep it secure but otherwise it was great to finally be able to stay dry and warm.

Warm and Dry
I wear this (under my bike helmet) on my commute in the wet West Coast winter. It's kept me dry and warm during my daily 25Km trip. Highly recommended!

Cap lacks sufficient interior volume to accommodate people with a higher forehead
High-quality materials and workmanship, warm and waterproof, and earflaps that protect from freezing wind — but the cap is designed to only fit people with a fairly low forehead. With the earflaps tucked up inside, the cap lacks sufficient interior volume to accommodate people with a higher forehead (especially those with a "fivehead"), causing the cap to "perch" atop the head rather than fit over it. Bend over, and it falls off. Worn with the earflaps down enables the cap to stay on the head, but but my extra-large size is still fits like a skullcap instead of a hat.
