Very Primal but sweet
It was hard for me to start, but it did not take long for Ivy and Tyson to grow on meTyson is the perfect "Neanderthal" Alpha but in his sweet childlike way you learn to love him, stubborn as he isIvy really is his perfect patient matePractical, Steadfast and again patient (she had to be with Tyson LOL)The author did an amazing job with plot and to me, the character development was on point. This book gripped me to the point where I was emotionally invested enough to cry and rage for Ivy in some partsGreat book, one of my faves that I will be reading over and overI look forward to Amelia's story, and hopefully we get to see all the Alpha Council's matings!!!

Good book
This is a supernatural romance between Tyson who is a werewolf and Ivy who is human. I just love when that happens . Ivy doesn’t understand and is basically kidnapped by Tyson , but in the best way. “I finally reach you and you think I’m planning to kill you? I haven’t hunted for you for hours for that. I’ve been looking for you for years, Ivy.” This story turned out to have more depth than I thought it would. I enjoyed these twos story.

Her best work yet.
I never hide the fact that I am this author's biggest fan. She has written a character, prior to this that still is in my top five book boyfriends of all-time. So to say, that I wait on bated breath for new words from her, is an understatement. If I could clone her so that she could write faster, trust me, I would. After reading this story, I double wish for that clone because I need ALL of these shifters and their stories. ALL. OF. THEM.The world-building in this one was sublime. So much detail. There were times that this book was reminiscent of another favorite author of mine, and then there were times that it was uniquely her own style. I LOVE that about her. From the first encounter between Tyson and Ivy, I was all in. I loved getting a dual point of view so I could get into both of these character's heads. Even though this happened in a pretty short period of time, it didn't feel like it was an instant-lust/love type of cheesy romance which is good because I really struggle with those, so if an author can make me forget time and not make me roll my eyes it says something about their skill as a writer. It was fleshed out. Time seemed to slow down. I not only got to see the foundation of a storyline being set up for future books, and a relationship between the main characters, but I also got to see a connection form where a lone wolf suddenly had a pack. It was fantastic to watch unfold. The relationship between Tyson and Ivy was complicated. There was an ease to these characters, and I found myself discovering so much about them, just as they were also discovering things about themselves and each other. It made me connect with them even more. Sweet holy titfire, the steam between these two was FIRE. Some of her best work yet, and trust me, this author can write some steam, so that says something. However, it didn't overpower the story. It fit in the story if that makes sense. There is one scene that is pretty intense. It made my heart hurt but the way that they came to terms, and the sacrifices that were willing to be made to make amends with it made it all better. There is a twist that I didn't see coming in regards to how this connection was formed. I should have known, considering, I have devoured all of her other books, but it still had me laughing to myself at how wittingly she tied this story to another. I wondered how she was going to do it after it was hinted in another book (considering these were two totally different characters) but, even then, I still hadn't put all the pieces together until the very end. I live for moments when an author can do that.I could go on and on like my typical shiny squirrel self likes to do when I write a review for this author, but I won't except to say, that she once again took a sub-genre and ran with it. She knocked it out of the park. Alessandro from Saved owns my heart, but Tyson just gave him a run for his money and the start of this series just moved up to my new favorite. Until the next book, where I am sure she will have me eating these words.

I lovd it! A great start for a new series
I received an ARC of this book and this is my voluntarily, honest review of it.I’m a reader that loves a lot of genres, the only thing that I want in my story is romance and a happy end. So when one of my favourite writers announced that she would write a werewolf/shifter book I was really excited and also a bit nervous about that. Excited because I knew that with her alpha male characters this shifter book would be SHIFTER ALPHA and nervous because with all the other shifter books already out, it’s difficult to be a ‘new’ voice in it (I personally think). But I’m delighted that in her own special DD Prince way, this writer created a world filled with alphas and new things. And I loved every minute of it!The story is about Tyson (Ty) and Ivy. Ty is a totally alpha wolf shifter and Ivy is human. For Tyson, it’s immediately clear that Ivy is his destined mate, from the first smell of her. But for Ivy, how is a human, it goes all too quickly and is too confusing. But Tyson has his own special shifter way to convince Ivy that they belong together and she’s almost convince when he makes a great mistake. Can he convince her again that they belong together??‘Wild’ is a very hot, sexy, steamy story, especially in the begin, so be prepared for that but also know that the more you read, the more the story develop into much more than that. It’s a light read but it’s also an emotional one. The story reads very fluent and although the time period where everything happens is short, it doesn’t feel that way. (Like always the writer gives us many pages to enjoy!)Tyson was a very fascinating main male character, because of his many years in wolf form his instincts at times where more wolf than human and that mixed with his alpha character, made him very predatory and protective, dominant, very sexual and also affectionate but it also made him very innocent at times and sweet, like a cute puppy. So I can totally understand that Ivy found it difficult to resist him and his hot body. Ivy was a strong female character who was caring and friendly. One of the things that I really like about her is that she didn’t forgive Tyson very quickly. She made him work for it.I really liked how this story was told, each chapter was in either Ivy’s or Tyson’s POV. And this was especially good during that extra emotional scene, to read Tyson’s and Ivy’s feelings about that. The secondary characters were great too. I loved how we slowly got to know him and it was wonderful to see how Tyson slowly opened his heart to his family and pack after being separated from them for so long. The bond between him and his pack brothers was special. The writer again created a great story, this time filled with shifters, magic, witches and much more. I’m very looking forward to read more of this world, especially after seeing little glimpses of the other alpha’s romances in this story!!! For the readers who have read her ‘Hollow duet’, you will see some connection with those two stories too. But it’s not necessary to read them first before reading this book. For the readers of hers, who aren’t sure if they would like this paranormal genre, I can only say that if you liked ‘Alphahole’ of this writer, then you have to try this one too. It has a bit of the same feel to it.

Just call me Mrs. Savage!
Good grief! What an incredible read! 100% my favourite DD Prince book. Hands down. Most authors don’t hit all the buttons for a good shifter romance. But even with it being her first, DD has hit the ground running and knocked it clean out of the park. She has hit EVERY SINGLE BUTTON. If you’re a shifter veteran you will know exactly what I mean! This book is HIGH heat. It’s also quite high on the trigger scale so be warned. But it’s also so incredibly addictive you will not be able to put the book down until it is finished. I couldn’t. I have also read this book several times because I love it that much.It runs so deep on so many levels, I absolutely love Tyson as a character. I love how he is so torn between two worlds. I love how much of a badass he can be at the drop of a hat for Ivy.Honestly it’s not your typical shifter romance, which to me, makes it epic. But with warnings aside, give it a read and enjoy. I can guarantee you’ll be howling for Tyson by the time you’re done.

Terrible
Dnf. Absolutely terrible. Poorly written, repetitive, and beyond boring and unbelievable. I downloaded this book as it got recommended in one of my favourite reader groups for Dark possessive alphas.. apparently we also forgot for something that was actually bearable to read.Every small thing was over explained, the characters were just god awful, and my god has Prince ever heard of adjectives?? She used the word "while" 7 times in 1 paragraph. If it wasn't for the raunchy scenes (that weren't all that dirty or raunchy which can sometimes make up for bad writing) I could swear this book was written by a 12 year old.Terrible, awful, abysmal and a total waste of time that I'll never get back.Do not bother.

Okay shifter read
3.5 StarsIt's not often that I'm not 100% sure how I feel about a book. I've been staring at this review for ages, deleting and retyping - and still struggling. And worse still...I don't know why! It's well written, and I enjoyed how well Tyson's inner voice was done as a shifter wolf with few social skills. It has a nice ending and leaves you curious about the other characters. Although I'm not the biggest fan of shifter books (I regularly read out of my usual comfort zone to keep trying new things), I would put this close to the top of the ones I have read.I didn't hugely connect with the characters, and didn't feel much emotion. The "steamy" scenes...I didn't really find steamy.I've very much enjoyed other books by this author, unfortunately this one was a bit of a miss for me.

Disliked the hero
I find reading a story in the present tense quite difficult. I was also unsure about this alpha hero character. Taken from his pack and brought up as a lone wolf, he finds his mate and takes her to his home. I dislike his complete lack of control and humiliation of his mate Ivy. Plus, after said humiliation and utter distress, I could not wrap my head around how they could possibly and so easily have a happy ever after.I won't give spoilers, but he whole plot seemed bizarre with a lone wolf so close to a shifter village which is involved in the plot.

Absolutely love it!
This is definitely one of my favourite shifter books. I can't wait to read the 2nd book and see what happened with Mason and Amie. :DTyson is a complicated Alpha. I really felt for him throughout the book. His problems communicating properly and his caveman attetude made for many interesting, sexy, funny but also heartbreaking moments. This was a really good start to a series and we got introduced to many characters that will hopefully be getting their own books. :D
