Very helpful
If you change rotors you know they can be a pain. This made life much easier. They were easy to use. Worked very well. The job took less time with little brute force.

Very effective
Inexpensive and gets the job done

Works good
It works , didn’t have a super rusted , seized piece, but could not get loose with a five pound hammer. Realized there are two size bolts to the remover , used the larger two bolts and the bearing came right out. Saw the reviews of bolt mushrooming, but worked well for me, no mushrooming.

Possibly one or two uses
Product worked, removed. Rear wheel bearing 9n a 2018 Forester. Threads were noticably deformed using hand tools. Did get the job done and was less expensive and less damaging than other alternatives

Worth every penny and saves a lot of time!!!
My 2009 Nissan Murano LE at 147k miles had original front wheel bearings that were in desperate need of replacement. I saw this DIY youtube video where this guy used the Astro tools kit on my exact model Nissan. At first I wasted time hitting the hub with a 2lb hammer and bought an 8" gear puller that used the center of the hub axle end as a leverage point. I ended up cross-threading the threads on the center screw. Then I bought the Astro tool after I saw the youtube video. With this tool, all I had to do was knock out one of the five wheel studs and insert one of the astro bolts. I also used copious amounts of Mobil 1 red grease on the bolt, nut and ball tip (To ensure no cross-thread) and lined up at 12 oclock on the knuckle. Hit it with my 1/2" electric impact wrench and the hub pulled free in less than three seconds! The kit comes with four bolts (two different diameters) in the event one set of tools wears out, so I expect this to last a few cars. Saved over $507 in labor doing the work myself vs a car shop. Thanks again!

This Astro Bolt Kit Has More Leverage Power Than Anything Else at Your Disposal
Just buy this kit. It gives you much more pkwer transfer than a sledge hammer, a slide-hammer bearing kit. This kit did awsome for me!I replaced two rear bearings, 2012 Grand Caravan. The good bearing came out with a tap of a hammer, but the bad bearing wouldn't budge at all with many, many blows from a sledge hammer. I hit that bearing with a sledge until I became nauseated. Then, I switched to this Astro kit. I used the kit with a Milwaukee 2760-20 high torque and the bearing was out in very little time and effort!Remember, knock out a wheel stud or two, then use that hole to insert an Astro bolt thru, thread the nut on the backside, then apply torque from an impact device or breaker bar. Rotate left and right sides of the same bearing if you need to.

Works fantastic
Tried air hammer, chisel, PB blaster, sledge, but this did the trick right away.... I probably loosened it first though. Hahaha

Pretty basic tool, but works well and provides everything you need
It's just some bolts, nuts, and caps...but:1. It saves the hassle of figuring out and finding the right sizes of hardened hardware for your application2. The nuts are oversized (3/4", 19mm) which makes things easier3. The caps are actually useful and kept the bolts from trying to kick out (I tried without them first)I used a little grease to try to minimize wear. So far they've only pulled one pair of hubs from a 10-year-old Subaru in New England (note rust on mating surface in photo of one), but despite leaning pretty hard on them they show no damage so far. I used the big Milwaukee M18 1/2" impact on the first one, but decided to go a little slower on the second with a longer 1/2" ratchet. Both worked fine.If I wear them out I'll probably just buy hardened bolts/nuts to replace them, but I feel this set was absolutely worth the money for me. Spent under $200 for OEM hub, new CV nut, and this kit. Dealer quoted $650, independent said 400ish.Beats endless hammering or a big air hammer by a good measure.

Great product for hub or bearing removal
Used these bolts to replace [the infamous Subaru] wheel hubs on 08 Impreza, and I can't be more thankful to have these handy. The hubs were completely rusted and bonded to the assembly. After failing with hours of using hammer and slide hammer, I gave these a try, and within a few minutes, the hub was out. After replacing all 4 hubs, some of the threads on the bolts are partially stripped, but that seems normal. They can still be used to do more if needed. You, the people at Astro Tools, you are awesome!

Got the drum back plate separated from hub bearing assembly
This was very useful to separate the drum back plate from the hub-bearing assembly on a Toyota Yaris 2012. The hub-bearing assembly got removed from the axle in only 3 pulls with a 10 pounds slide hammer. (I don’t fool around anymore with the 5 pounds ones, too much rust here…) The only problem with the 10 pounds slide hammer is that the brake backing plate as a serious tendency to come apart with the hub itself. You now need to separate each others carefully, the backing plate is usually thin cheaper metal that can get deformed easily. This is where this tool comes handy. Just remove 2 wheel studs and insert this tool where the studs were. Make sure the tools pushes at the bottom on something hard enough to withstand this force. Only a couple of threads on each sides were necessary to separate the 2 parts easily. I will keep this tool as a joker IF ever the 10 pounds slide hammer gets defeated; it didnt happened yet, even up here in the Quebec rust belt. The tool itself felt well made and re-usable many times. Its quite expensive for a couple of bolts and nuts…

Strips out very easily
Lubricated threads before each use and still strips out very easily. One use per bolt. After one use, the bolt will no longer thread into the nut nicely. I have no more thin bolts remaining…

Wow what a tool.
Throw all your slide hammers and pullers back in your tool boxes. This is the best tool I’ve ever owned or used for pulling wheel bearings. Fast set up and just seconds required to pull even the most stubborn and seized bearings. Living in Canada that says a lot for all the rust and corrosion with have to deal with. I’m going to order another one to have on stand by in case this one ever breaks. 10/10 for this product.
