Team CatfishTCSBSS Sinker Slides & Fishing Equipment

I target catfish regularly and always use a sinker slide (or no-roll slip sinker) rig when fishing from shore. I've used dozens of brands and I'd say these slides are middle of the road quality for a premium price (at least here on amazon - not sure if they're cheaper somewhere else). I will say that I definitely like the bumpers that come with the slides to protect your mainline knot because they're soft and seem protect your knot well, but the plastic that the slides are made from is quite thin and has fairly sharp edges much like the cheap Offshore Angler ones I used to buy from my local store.I use 65-80 LB braid for my mainline and can see clear marks in the slides where the braid is starting to dig in after 2 nights of use casting 1-3 ounces of weight (not including the bait) from the bank, which leads me to believe these may wear your line prematurely if you dont change them out fairly regularly.I wouldn't have much of an issue with this (as many brands of sinker slides are the same way) if it weren't for the price. For what the price is here on amazon, it's simply not a good value for 4 slides and 4 rubber bumpers.I'm giving 3 stars because I do like the bumpers (will look to buy them separately as long as I can find them with an acceptable price/quantity), but no more because what you get for what you pay here on Amazon simply isnt worth it and I'm not very impressed with the quality of the slides themselves.

Makes changing the weight used, which is helpful when fishing changing conditions (Tide & Dam Release. The bumper is ok, but I generally replace it with a larger, luminous bead. I would recommend it.

The options in this review are silly. What is “warmth” when dealing with fishing lures. That’s dumb. Otherwise we love these. I do think the price is high for what these are but they are great lures for fishing on the bottom. We’ve caught a lot of catfish

So, the item itself is fine, but I wouldn't have bought it knowing that by 6pcs they mean you get 3 snap sliders and 3 bumpers. This feels pretty misleading to me.

These Sinker Slides are a must have for my Catfish rig! I highly recommend!

They do exactly what they are designed to do.

They feel extremely light and cheap, also came in qty of 6 (3 bumper 3 slide) not 8. A company that's not even honest about what they're selling should not be trusted.
