This is a great laptop, but has poor battery power and the video card is not powerful enought to play video games.

Laptop is nice. For this item. I definitely had to have a hub. It makes a big difference when u need to add devices that are need. It’s a must.

I purchased a new PC device for the first time in over a decade. Nothing is perfect. This new Dell 7415 has both good and bad qualities. But a broken hinge? Never abused and mostly kept and used in an open 'laptop' mode, I was shocked when after just 3 months of ownership, the right-hand hinge just snapped through the lower right bezel of the LCD lid as I attempted to close it. Dell Support first gave a 48-hour time to have the LCD lid replaced by a tech. [Note: the phone support was a good experience] Since that time I've emails pushing repair out 2 weeks. Now they will not even say when it will be repaired.The hinge is too stiff in operation. It looks like the LCD frame where the hinge mechanism is attached, flexed from the strain, then failed by cracking and then snapping.Knowing what I know now I would not have spent my dollars on this device.

Very happy with this laptop, it has great capacity and is small enough. The relation quality price is very good.

Great small computer/tablet

I wanted to give this more stars, but really didn't have the chance to use it to its full potential. I am in a business where I work from home and require a great camera and microphone. From the moment I pulled this out of the box, the mic never worked. I went through Dell Support and spent over an hour on the phone attempting to remedy it. I updated every driver, even uninstalling and reinstalling some and performed every Windows update. I read online that an older version of one of the drivers is required to get the mic to work. To me, this is unacceptable and why I leave this poor rating. I am not spending the money on a NEW computer to have to fish for an OLD driver to operate my current equipment.

The keypad of the laptop stopped working out of the sudden. There are several keys that are not working right now and when I contact the seller, I do not receive any response. This is the worst item I have bought in Amazon.

Originally purchased from Best Buy, took my merry time to figure out which laptop to buy for my wife. She lent her previous laptop to family and she didn't have a laptop to use of her own. I'm a technical user, so my primary focus was to make sure that the laptop had a good keyboard, that my wife would also appreciate the keyboard on the laptop. Second was that the track pad was of quality, and that it had a good tactile feel. Additionally that it could handle some basic gaming such as Roblox for the nieces, and the wife plays Asphalt 8 and it runs like a dream on this machine.As for business use and general her-use is that it supports quite well the touchpad out of the box, and one thing I loved about it is a physical switch for the camera. This feature gave me & my wife some warm fuzzies that we're protected against potential malicious actors.Laptop battery on this machine is easily 6-9 hours depending on how you use the machine, even when it's not running at full power, it still feels plenty fast, and doesn't feel like my Dell Precision 7510 down-clocking itself all the time to Sip on the power. This machine runs dynamically all the time, and always feels capable. I'd go so far as to say this laptop feels a lot like a macbook in terms of battery length.Buy one, you won't regret it.
