Against my better judgement I recently decided to embark on a keto diet. I have been a vegan for 5 years - the best decision I have ever made - and the range of keto vegan recipe books is pretty limited. Therefore, I ordered this book in the hope that I could make this keto experiment as pleasant as possible. If only. I have now tried around 15 recipes and all bar two have been filth. Of particular note is the Overnight Blueberry Almond Pudding which may be the worst thing I have ever put in my mouth (for reference, I once drank an ashtray for a dare). There are very few photographs of the finished meals and I can only assume that is because genuine photographs would put people off. Special mention must go to one of the few recipes with a photograph - the Low-Carb Gingerbread. The photographs would have you belief it a moist ginger loaf; in fact is a dry crumbly abomination. There is simply no way the photograph can be of the finished dish. The frittata tastes like an old person's foot and the Raspberry Lemon Protein Smoothie made feel much like someone might if they had drunk a pint of semen. Is that how you want to feel? Is it?

The Keto Vegan
I'm not a huge fan of this book, I was looking for one with lots of recipes and although this does have lots of recipes most of them are pretty basic. The cover is lovely but the inside of the book isn't well designed and there's barely any photos of the recipes.

Nice book
Lovely little book, didn't realise though... it didnt come with pictures.

Just what I was looking for
As a vegan I eat a lot of carbs, and so many recipes use beans and pulses it’s great to find a high protein vegan cookbook which uses more tofu etc in recipes

Coconut & chocolate
Unfortunately being unable to eat coconut or chocolate due to severe intolerance, there isn't anything in this book I can use. For me a complete waste of money.
