Seasonic are the best and more reliable psu
By far Seasonic psu's are the best and more reliable power supplies you can get. They may be pricey but that is understandable considering what they put in them. They are made to take a beating and keep on going.

Hey baby how you doing? I'm doing Titanium! Whaaa!!
Case: Cooler Master Trooper(non revision)Motherboard: Asus Crosshair VI HeroPrevious PSU: Antec High Current Gamer 900w (still works after 6+ years) non modular is a pain Fully modular is amazing and some what easy depending on the case I put the fan switch to always run and no fan noise like some other customers have. Seems hit or miss. I think price of shipping when you need to RMA should be included with warranties. PSU Tester was a bit wonky. (Unplugged first) I had to remove the metal pin and re-insert it manually after PSU didn't start. After fixing that the fan started spinning. No PSU Tester information/help in manuals. Manuals are pretty useless. Just marketing junk. Waste of paper. The one thing that is useful is the (Quick Installation Guide). PSU is working fine so far. Will update again in the future if problems arise.Whole PSU is flipped with the fan facing the floor/ground. Whole PSU flipped with the fan facing the sky/ceiling may be less tight with cable management (24-pin connector/4+4CPU connector(s)). Would really like to see the regular 6+2 pin cables and a full 8 pin pci-e cables included in the future. Did not have an issue with cable length. Would like to see clip-ons for 6+2 also. Ultra towers may have issues with length. CPU cables I would like too see a full 2 (8 pin) connectors and still have 4+4 cables included. Was not an easy install with motherboard and case that I have. I would have to uninstall 200mm top fan for easier installation. cable length seems fine. Ultra towers may have issues with length. I also have a problem with the 24 pin motherboard connector being a bit too short and a bit stiff. It would be nice to have the 24 pin connector a little longer for some slack. A bit too tight right now.I would also like too request to see a 5 plug SATA power connector added in future releases. I have 5 HDD's and had too use a shorter 2 plug SATA connector for the last one. I haven't used Seasonic modular PSU's for years and wanted too come back since they are the best you can buy.

Looks and feels like quality kit
I have always installed medium range Corsair PSU's in my computer builds up to now. The first one in 2008 which is still performing flawlessly in a computer that is used almost daily. But this high end Seasonic (who supply Corsair and other manufacturers) just feels and looks like better quality. Cannot comment on performance yet as my new build is only a few weeks old.The design means that the fan only ever comes on when under load and the fan has never even come on yet.Lots of cables in the box including what Seasonic call a tester, which is essentially what you need when priming a water loop as you can run the pump without connecting anything else. It is just a blank ATX connector with the green and a black cable pre-connected to let the PSU switch on.Unlike a lot of other PSU's this one comes with a 12 year warranty for extra piece of mind.Sometimes you just get a feeling that something is going to be good as soon as you unpack it, and this PSU certainly looks and feels the part. Here's hoping it lasts as long as my 10 year old Corsair.

Almost the perfect product!
Hands down, the prime titanium series cannot be beaten in performance. I left the fan on and it is considerably quieter than my noctua fans at 50%. The tolerances are so tight that it fixed the power delivery issue I originally had with my 600w hpg-600st-f12. My rig pulls a total of 89 amps at maximum and my old unit can only offer 86 amps combined on all the rails. This is where the rig gets a brownout and a blue screen occurs. This unit can offer 110 amps combined on all rails.I originally bought an EVGA supernova g2 850w and it is a nice PSU but I got a faulty unit so I returned it and splurged on this unit from seasonic. Why not a 5 star? The CPU and PCI-e cables have a split on it and they make cable management that much uglier. Either stack and bond them or just bond them all together into one ribbon to make it look better.

A premier power supply
The Seasonic PRIME Ultra 850 Titanium (SSR-850TR) came in a package fit for a premium power supply. The unit is fully modular and comes with plenty of cable connections (and cables). The fan is 135mm and operates in two modes: quiet and dead quiet (controlled by a button on the back of the unit). Build quality is excellent and so far, the unit is performing perfectly. All this, and a 12 year warranty, too. Previously, I had the Silverstone Tek Strider Gold S Series 750W ATX12V/EPS12V 80 Plus Gold Full Modular PSU Power Supply ST75F-GS installed, but a capacitor began to fail after a little over four years of use. The difference between the two power supplies is like night and day - the Seasonic one has a much larger fan, which will be most appreciated during the summer months, and is way quieter to boot. I've liked Silverstone, but am pleased I made the switch.
