will this work on my pc using the xbox adapter?

I don't know for sure as I've never tried. But it does work on Bluetooth and works on the Xbox Series x and PlayStation 5, so I would imagine it works on the PC as well. Sorry I can't give a definitive answer.

Can you use the microphone from the headphones or just the built in?

Despite another user saying that it works with the microphone on the Bluetooth device, I could never get mine to work. When the mic switch on the adapter is on, only the mic built into the adapter works. Sound from the mic on the Bluetooth headphones is ignored. When the mic switch on the adapter is turned off, no sound is transmitted at all. I regret waiting for so long to get this device.

Will this connect to a Bluetooth speaker?

Yes it will connect with any bluetooth item, but also has a mic built in so no need for a headset, if you choose
