I only wish manufacturers would be more honest about their products capabilities. This impact wrench will be used mostly for running up screws and nuts an slightly tighten them. It will not be used for torquing and untorquing, it will not be used for removing lug nuts or head bolts from vehicles. The manufacturer rates the torgue ft. Lbs. at 240 but I put a deep well socket on the anvil and was able to completely stop it with one hand. Again that is not why I purchased this.One positive note the battery was almost dead when it arrived and the manual said to expect 5 hours to fully recharge but it only took half that time. Also very nice design with rubber gripsI did send a email to the manufacturer asking where to purchase a spare battery, could not find the right one on Amazon, Ebay or even Walmart, all who sell the Avid products. The impact I purchased was the 3/8 socket drive model. I wish now I should have gotten the 1/2 instead, but really don't think I will even come close to needing that much. powerBy the way to test it completely I did used it on my truck lug nuts. It did remove them but took a little coaxing on my part.Overall for the price of just$80 I feel I got my money's worth.

I got one the other day and really like it. my son used it and liked it so I order him one. but went to pick it up from the Amazon locker and put the code in and no box. the first time this ever happen to me. I will have my stuff come to my address from now on.

Best tool for your $$$$$$ AWESOME

Perfect solution to keep in the truck or carFor road side. Will get the job done for most things, but it’s no m18 - m20. I have 6 of these for my fleet.

I purchased this tool in November 2021 it worked well for about 6 months then it would randomly not work and the normally green boost light would be red. I work for a NY City tool rental company and daily am asked what is the best tool for this job my reply was I love Avid Power tools. This all has changed because of the companies refusal to honor a warranty on a product that is in writing from Avid Power still under warranty. I was asked by Judy their warranty representative to send pictures a recent serial number and an explanation of my problem. I Sent her exactly everything she asked for. Judy then told me she could not find my order so I sent her my Amazon receipt proving when and where I purchased my item with again the serial number of item on a plate on item absolutely proving it was under warranty and needs to be replaced or repaired under their warranty service. They now will not reply and will not honor their written warranty this is just not at all acceptable. This company is HORRIBLE DISHONEST AND RUDE to their customers I now make sure every day to tell as many customers where I work how bad a company Avid Power is. I told Judy before I posted anything or made posters in the front office seen by at least 100 customers a day my experience with Adid Power. I want them to know I was their advocate for almost a year. I gave them all the opportunity to make this right and they chose to not honor their warranty with the wrong customer. Anyone who reads this should not do business with a company like this that doesn't honor their warranty STAY AWAY FROM AVID POWER !!!

Have to fight socket to release, also charger could be of a better design too flimsy however for the price it get the light work done
