Weak and therefor unusable. I've used other brands of Valerian extract that work great. This is not one. In fact to get as much effect of one tablet of another brand, it had to take like 3 tsp of this and that was not good on the gut. Should have known with the price. Skip this for a better brand

This is very good Valerian Root Extract, has no fillers or any preservatives, just powdered root. And it works great! Two scoops helped me sleep much better. But the taste, oh god the taste. It's how I know the product is what it says it is, it's akin to how feet taste after marching all day in a boot that doesn't get air flow, rolled around in the dirt. If you can get past the taste, you have a great product. Recommend for people who either want to make their own capsules, or for people without taste buds

I've been taking valerian for a while. I recently switched from another well known 4:1 brand for a better price. I take a relevant dose of this and it works all the same. I'm not sure why some people would say this stuff doesn't work. It smells just like valerian, but actually has less nasty flavor when mixed with tea.
