The large and small scales have the exact same shape. Dimensions listed above. Each scale needs 2 rings for the overlapping vest style weave, so consider that when buying scales. Can be turned into a variety of items such as bracers, scale flowers, scalemail shirts, gloves, etc... These come in packs of 100. These DO NOT come with rings. You have to buy those separately. You will need the rings to connect the scales together.

Loving the scales!
I'm new to scalemaille, but I've really enjoyed working with these scales. At first glance you think there's scratching on the scales, but upon further inspection you find that it's really just shavings from the scale making process - the stuff just wipes right off. These scales do not come with the jump rings you need to put them together. I already had the size jump rings needed to start weaving these when they got here - I'm using 18 gauge 1/4 inch rings for these medium sized scales, and it's coming together perfectly! Great product!

Nice scales. but you will want to tumble them in a coffee can to remove the burrs and fins. Or you could end up with a metal splinter.
