Don’t buy
The media could not be loaded. Bad design?Poor gasket?This ‘kettle’ is trash.Disappointed with the small heating element initially- get what you pay for-Bought for my kid to cook Raman.Worked well enough about 5 times?Then started leaking water from the bottom.Amazon customer service was very quick to send a replacement unit, after reading other reviews and seeing where it failed. I’m not interested in using or keeping this product, sending both back.

Great for travel
Took this on a road trip with me so I could heat stuff in my hotel room and didn't have to eat restaurant food the whole time. Cooks great, is fast to heat up and I love that it has the insert for boiled eggs. I cooked pasta, potatoes, eggs, etc. in it as well as used it for boiling water.

It is a useful kitchen gadget.
I purchased it to boil water and make ramen at work. I would have liked if there was an actual on/off switch. I have to make sure that it is unplugged so I don't burn it and cause a fire. It does feel cheaply made, esp. the lid. However it does was it is advertised to do!
