One of the best Strings for everyone
One of the best Strings for everyone. With the highest Index score in the table with 245 points makes it a king in the price to performance ratio. Every string from Yonex is associated with either R for Repulsion, HS for Hitting Sound, D for Durability, S for Shock Absorption and C for Control. See the picture below to understand the basics of the test. The score column shows how well the strings play. It's an average of R, HS, S and C times D. The graph shows how long each string lasts against how good it is. The strings that do well don't tend to last as long. This means they are more expensive to run, especially at high tensions. Higher tension = Smaller sweet spot (More control/Less power/Crisper feel/ More string breaks) Lower Tension = Easier to time (More Power/ Less Control/ Soft feel/ Less string breaks) Tension Ranges:- <=20lbs - Beginners 20-22lbs - Intermediate 22-26 lbs - Advanced 26-above - Professional Pro players tend to play with high tensions as they are good enough to hit the sweet spot all the time and like the extra control. They also still have a lot of power with those hand speed of 450+ kms and even touching 500km/s. Some players like Kento Momota play with 35lbs rackets. Intermediate and Beginners normally use lower tensions as they are technically inferior and can't time the shuttle as well. So next time you hit the birdie with the frame and not the string, don't blame the racket. This is one of the best all round string from Yonex and NBG 98 is close in that regard too. You can also look for Victor strings or Ashaway strings if you are looking for alternatives.

It's a hit if not a miss
Great strings although they show wear at crosses when being strung. Tension drop is high and noticeable Strung it at 32/30 on my apacs Z-ziggler. String does offer a bite onto shuttle and woah! Precision is pleasure. String is rough on texture and wears off. Smash speed is unchanged but control is there. Compared it with Victor vs850, and Victor does come out victorious on feel, tension retention and control. Although vs850 is a goner when it comes to retention, it fares better than nbg99. Got it at rs385 and that price point is worth it. Going to string it next in ashaway phantom x speed and let's see how it goes. Smashes aren't affected. Net play is accurate af. Clears are powerful. Service is accurate af. Only disappointment is tension retention and lack of color.

Best for all round performance.
Nanogy 99 are the best strings for all round performance. The power plays have nice punch with good hitting sound and game around the net is well controlled and precise. The product is genuine, with trusted seller. I have been using it for more than 2 years.

Month down, still impressive
##Month later review## The strings hv held tension pretty well, I'm impressed, despite a couple hours of daily practice But of course some tension has leaked, and now my clears reach the back court much easier and pretty regularly Smashes and soft net play is more the less the same tho ##First play review## My stringer hs, apparently, strung this at 26 lbs so it makes a nice sing(e)ing sound wn d shuttle hits d sweet spot of my Mizuno JPX 8.3 I'm not used to high tensions so I was playing a lil carefully but still d power is good in smashes, repulsion is quick n strong n control is well mwah :) Finally after more than a couple months of daily playing (on my default Arcsaber Lite 2i strings) do I feel that d racquet listens to me! When I want soft net shots, d string respinds nicely n d shuttle barely falls over d net, services r flat too N every now n then you get that singeing sound in d drives, this has d bite alright :) Looking forward to more durability n tension retention testing, so far flawless!

Very good and recommended
I'm using this with yonex nanoray 200 aero at 27 lbs tension. It has a good control and repulsiveness is good too. It has been only 2 days and I will update based on my observations for next few weeks.

It was made in India.
